Absolutely loved my experience at Sarku Japan in Newport Centre Mall! The food was fresh, hot, and made right in front of us. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the fried rice was full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted delicious. usually it’s pretty good. the person cooking the meat walked away and a bunch of my chicken was burnt. instead of removing it, he dumped more chicken on top of the burnt pieces.

also idky some parts of the rice and steamed vegetables were cold. that makes me wonder how long were they sitting out before being served.

Overall, the food was the same as any other Sarku place I’ve visited so far and the line is much shorter compared to Panda Express if you want a quick bite. The only negative thing is that the worker is multitasking a lot between the chefs and customers that he sometimes doesn’t hear your order correctly . I ordered chicken teriyaki but with more vegetables than rice and they gave me barely any vegetables and piled up a bunch of of rice. Hopefully the service is better when...
