Disappointing Experience – Not What It Used to Be
I used to really enjoy this place, but it's completely lost its charm. The tables were dirty, and the rooftop—once a great spot—is now ruined. They've built a strange barrier around it, which makes it feel closed off and uninviting. You can't see anyone around you anymore, and the whole setup just looks ugly and awkward.
The atmosphere is nowhere near what it was a year ago. The music is dull, the vibe is lifeless, and it honestly feels more like a prison than a rooftop lounge. It's definitely not cozy or worth the price of the drinks. If you're looking for a good time, skip this spot and head to NYC instead. I really hope they tear that rooftop barrier down and bring back the place people used to love.
Amazing place where everyone is welcome! Great service, workers are always friendly. Prices are very good! Love coming here for brunch.
This is NOT a gay bar. They advertise to the LGBTQIA+ community but they play LIL WAYNE and MORGAN WALLEN. Owned by straights too. Gross.
Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday
We’ve come here 2 times for drag brunch for different events and they do not disappoint. They were so accommodating, even the first time when we had a guest in a wheelchair, as there are elevators they allowed us to use and a bouncer helped us to get in and out of the building safely. The service was awesome, the show was amazing and we got to celebrate a friends bachelorette with decorations and our own cake. Shoutout to our waiter Will who made our celebration so easy and took very good care of us! He was the best!
Meh. Its ok. Sorry. Just not my jam. But try it, you may have a different experience
Has such an amazing experience. The DJ comes out and has the whole party going all night long. The music is off the chain the bartenders and servers are so friendly. Plenty of room to dance after 11:00 when they open up the back room.
This whole situation has been nothing short of disturbing. I was assaulted inside this club in January, and instead of support or accountability, I was met with silence. This is after multiple calls and emails to the establishment. For a whole week, I heard nothing back. So I left reviews explaining what happened, honest ones!! That’s when the manager finally reached out, admitted the security guard escalated the situation unnecessarily, and even told me he was going to speak to him about his behavior. He said he felt that when he spoke to me he appreciated how calm and respectful I was and that he felt like we were having a genuine conversation and making progress. He even offered to put me on a mailing list to get me a merch shirt to replace the one that was stolen in the incident. He then encouraged me to come back and give them another shot. So I did, and what happened? I got banned at the door!!! Mind you, I came back back 2 times without issue but for some reason I’m banned tonight. The same manager (JP) suddenly tells me I “made a scene” and brought up the reviews I left. Hmmm… why do you think the reviews were brought up now when this is something he never had an issue with when we spoke on the phone? I know why, this is reprisal. It was a complete 180°. Let’s call it what it is: this is blatant retaliation for me speaking up about being mistreated and leaving reviews for being ignored for over a week. They wanted me to forget about it and let it go but because I spoke up, I put a target on my back. I don’t regret it now because this is proof he never cared about resolving anything—he just wanted to save face. No real accountability. No transparency. Didn’t ask me to rethink my review. I was assaulted, gaslit, and then silenced. If you care at all about your safety, dignity, or being treated like a person, stay far away from this place.
A lot of the recent negative reviews are antagonizers exaggerating and/or playing victim towards a supposed incident. But having so many talk about it makes it seem like you’re trying to prove something, no? Or just be petty 🤡 Either way, this place is great.
Workers are accommodating. Drinks are phenomenal. The beef quesadillas were amazing. The music was always on point. A little too dark but wonderful environment for the most part!

I went to dance at the club in the basement. I had a great time, the people are friendly.
This is very disappointing to write. My friends and I booked a 245 reservation they texted us twice to confirmed we were coming. We all traveled at least an hour to get there. To be Rudely spoken to by the bouncer. Very tall black guy with freckles. He kept putting his hands in our faces manslaning to me that it doesn’t matter that I have a reservation it’s fully booked and he will not be letter us in. Clearly I’m confused because who doesn’t hold tables for reservations. He then gets up in our faces as if he’s not 6 plus feet tall and says we are not getting in how about to go to the ashford….. We then text the person who confirmed us coming that SAME day. And their response was that we should have asked for a manager… now you tell me after a huge and rude man is getting in your face over a reservation you HAD, why would I escalate. That is not my job to make sure I had a good experience. And this will be made into a tik tok because clearly people only act like normal humans once there company has been dragged through the mud by a bunch of randoms on the internet not to faithful customers that wanted to spend their time and money at your restaurant. PS get a better bouncer. He will be the reason your restaurant will be sued.
The staff very friendly and food was very good I was celebrating my friends birthday
It’s a nice spot and decorated well. The issue is the dj plays basic music and it’s super choppy. Pick the vibe, it’s either all reggae music or all main stream or all house and stick to that. It’s also sad that it seams to caters more to the straight crowd than for the anticipated gay club that it should focus on. The owner needs to figure out what they want to do. Shame because it’s the only gay club here and they don’t know if they even want to cater to the gay crowd? Hope they read this and try to fix the downstairs vibe! This place has a very big potential but they don’t need to copy the club above- ASHFORD!
It's such amazing awesome dope place a judgment-free zone it's something different something like no other I love it there
