In my recent visit to this establishment, it was my first experience at this bar. Prior to my arrival, I conducted online research and discovered their promotion for Taco Tuesday, which stipulated a minimum order of three tacos. Upon reaching the bar, I proceeded to place an order for shrimp tacos along with a beverage. Despite specifying three tacos, the bartender only inputted an order for two, leading to a discrepancy. In response, I opted to supplement my order with two additional tacos to satisfy the minimum requirement.During my subsequent interaction with a different bartender for the additional order, I was reminded of the minimum requirement. Clarifying that I had indeed requested three tacos initially, I encountered skepticism from the bartender, which was disconcerting and unwarranted. As a patron, I find it disheartening to be met with such doubt, undermining the trust typically associated with customer service interactions.This incident has left me significantly disillusioned with the level of service provided, prompting me to reconsider patronizing this establishment in the future. As a paying customer, I value transparency and fair treatment, and being unjustly accused of dishonesty has marred my perception of this establishment.Additionally, I would like to highlight that the interior lighting within the bar is inadequately dim, which detracts from the overall ambiance and comfort of the establishment.

The Drag Brunch was EVERYTHING! We celebrated my wife's birthday here. We had a group of 15. Great food, great music. JP, Milly & Wilkina provide AMAZING service! I highly recommend patronizing this establishment. We had an awesome time.Parking: There is a paid parking lot nearby on Grove Street.
I don’t know what happened to this bar, it is not what it used to be. The crowd is like 75% college straight little girls. The DJ is a hit or miss. Most of the times I’ve been there, the music is terrible… they play a bunch of corny songs that seem to be taken from a high school musical. When they play one good song, the DJ kills the drop. It is very disappointing.

I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BARTENDER AT THE MAIN BAR!!! I used to come to six26 every Friday for RPDR but not anymore. This bartender that wears the backwards “daddy” hat is a very rude and disrespectful individual. These last two times I’ve come he’s had an attitude towards me and I will never understand why. I never excepted that i’d be treated this way at an LGBTQ+ establishment. When we arrived both times we sat for about 10+ minutes before we were greeted and attended too as well as did not receive water. I had an issue with my bill to where I asked for clarification and he sent someone else to answer my question and proceeded to laugh and mock me when I asked to look at the menu. Then I chose not to tip him for not being professional and treating me and my partner in such a way where we felt belittled. When he saw that I didn’t tip him he came back and proceeded to mock me and be loud at the bar causing attention to be drawn to my direction and screamed “THANK YOU LADIES” and proceeded to slam the check book closed. He then grabbed his coworker and stood in front of us laughing and pointing. Very childish honestly but that’s not all. So like I stated I didn’t tip this individual for poor service. My bill from six26 just cleared in my bank and it does not match the amount I signed for so it seems as though an unauthorized tip was added to my bill. I’ve been calling to speak to a manager but nobody is ever there to take my call. The service I received that night is unacceptable and ruined the rest of the night for us. I would like an explanation as to why this was able to happen as well as a refund for the inconvenience. I’ve never had an issue with any other server or bartender with my bill until last Friday. This was very inappropriate and should not be tolerated.

We hosted a private party for my moms birthday. Rented the back space of the bar from 7pm-10pm. We had an absolute blast! The service was amazing, the DJs were great and the entire staff was incredibly helpful and let us decorate the space exactly how we wanted. My mom had such a great time. Major shoutout to our bartender Matt that made us all feel so welcomed! Would recommend hosting a big birthday celebration here!

The steak medallions were AMAZING! The wings... AMAZING! The staff could smile more, lol! Don't come here if you want a long island iced tea, they won't make you one! Full bar but they won't make you an LIT? ? Good music too. My only question, why is this a gay bar/lounge when I found most of the clientele isn't gay? I found more straight men and women in there then gays on multiple occasions. Just curious...Parking: Parking is terrible! Expect a 2-3 block walk minimum on a weekend night out. During the week you might fair better, you might not! Hope you have a small car!

I went last night with a group of friends and the music was terrible. katy perry, miley cyrus, dua lipa, mixed into club beats. Super disappointing. This place is like a pool for straight people, especially straight women to go, and lure paying straight men in. I couldn’t even get a table and bottle service because the tables were taken by straight people. it takes away from the purpose of this place. Super disappointing.Will not be back.

Wow! This gay bar was amazing! I have to say firstly that I got the lamb with mashed potatoes and vegetables and it was AMAZING - for only $20?! Insanely affordable for how tasty the food was. The staff was very kind and very funny. We talked about their recommendations for drag shows in the city, what their favorite menu items were, and just vibed! Cute basement interior. The rooftop was closed when we went (too cold?). Security at the door patted us down and they had a metal detector. That was nice to make us feel safe going into the building. Definitely one our favorite spots on the trip and will be returning in the future! Felt very welcomed!

Dear Six26, please hire Female DJs. I’ve been coming here since the opening. Recently within the past few months, I have not enjoyed the times I’ve been here. The male DJS do not take kindly to request. They even brag on their social media that they stand for canceling request culture. It’s giving very toxic masculinity and that’s never what this space was about. I miss going here but the vibes have been off. I’m sure I’m not the only person who feels this way. Please change up the lineup and get some women and or people who are more empathetic and appreciate requests. Sincerely, a concerned customer.
