I had the steak tacos here and they were DELICIOUS. Savory and tender. The staff is nice and the service was quick. Would absolutely come back here next time I’m in JC!

Got the lamb barbacoa, pork carnitas, and skirt steak tacos
All were very sad and poorly executed. Lacking in everything flavor texture and finesse
The lamb was drowning in hot sauce that just made my mouth numb .
30$ for a few shitty tacos and no chips or anything with it?
Place is not worth the hype.

We have been ordering food from this place all the time and used to like it… until we had a very bad experience tonight. We ordered takeout for 2 tortilla soups, 2 cactus tacos and guacamole and chips. When we got home, the cactus tacos and tortilla soup were way too salty and we couldn’t eat them. When I called to complain, the manager said he tasted the food and there was nothing wrong with it. It’s not true because we get these items all the time and they were never this salty. He asked me to bring the food back so he can exchange or do refund. It is a Saturday night and we hit a lot of traffic to go pick up the food we didn’t want to go back in that traffic again. The manager was rude, even had the nerve to tell me the street is empty where the restaurant is, not even asking where we were coming from to pick up the food and insinuating that I was lying! Very disappointed in this place. Please invest in better managers and taste the food before you serve. You just lost a couple of loyal customers.

This place has amazing tacos, but my most recent experience has really turned me off to ordering here again. My husband put in a big order for a pick up. When we got there, they said the order was never processed because they could not confirm payment. First of all, we have never paid ahead of time for pick up. Second, why wouldn’t you call us back to get it. They said they could do the order in 10 minutes so we decided to re-order it. They did not do any adjustment to our payment and it took 20 minutes.

I am a visitor from Australia ?? ? and I wanted to check out the famous Taqueria. Well, I was not disappointed. The place was "pumping," vibrant excellent service - the ? ? ? tasted great - and a reasonable price! Watching the Tequila drinks made - a great show!!!
No wonder it got the award for best restaurant in town. Thank you to the staff that got as a table as soon as possible!
