Is this under new ownership? Similar to other reviewers, have been a loyal customer of Taqueria Downtown for years and things have changed. No more limes in the tacos, even when we ask for them. Shredded chicken in the chicken enchiladas has been replaced with cubed chicken. Sauces taste off. Smaller portions all around. Bring back the old menu! It was already perfect and beloved for years by all of JC.
I had the beef, chicken, and steak tacos! Absolutely delicious, highly recommend! I’m new to the area and experiencing the foodie culture. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back!
This place has a simple and casual atmosphere. The tacos are very tasty and authentic. I tried the carnitas taco, which was fresh and full of flavor. My friend had the cactus taco, a unique vegetarian option. The portions are good for the price. They also have a full bar. I will definitely return.
