This place used to be pretty good but they’ve run out of their sauces and seasonings. The last couple times I ordered, they sent me plain, grilled chicken with no seasoning. The second time it happened, I called and the woman on the phone said they’d run out of the sauces and only offer plain grilled chicken. If they had let me know I would’ve canceled the order entirely. Afterwards, I was told there’s nothing they can do and to take it up with Grubhub. Don’t order from here unless you want plain chicken.

I’m honestly disappointed with the service. The person at the counter she had no smile at her face, wasn’t welcoming at all, same was with the other staff members. The total time I was at the restaurant I was feeling suffocated with the weird behavior. If I’ve taken out time to post this I think they should understand how it really made me feel.

This is the SECOND time this year that I've found a long black hair in Tribos' food. I'm utterly disgusted!The first time was quite a few months ago. I found a long hair inside my chicken burger, so had to throw the meal out and I had no intention of ever ordering from Tribos again. The front desk staff had a horrible attitude when I'd previously picked up an order, so the hair sealed my decision to stop ordering.My husband decided to pick up food from there tonight and I wasn't keen at all. To my horror, there was ANOTHER long hair through the entire length of the chicken pita. I cannot believe this has happened twice in just one year and lord knows how many other meals leave their establishment with hair in. This is completely unacceptable.

I never knew why it was called peri peri, but apparently it's a type of pepper they use in their sauce. I usually get the lamb or chicken plate here since anything on yellow rice with sauce is usually a good time. The red spice is actually no joke. Pretty good after burn, but it is complemented by the white sauce. Sometimes, I even use the leftover sauce on pasta and it's amazing!The lamb is actually quite juicy compared to the chicken. They also have sides like coleslaw fries, peri peri mayo corn and coleslaw. I tried the corn one time, and it's literally just mayo with sauce on corn. I probably wouldn't order it again. The fries are pretty standard. They taste great when dipped in the peri peri sauce. I believe they also have peri peri fries which are quite spicy but always end up soggy if I bring it to go.

Hidden Gem in Jersey city. Believe me this place is awesome with their chicken. Never imagined the chicken would be so tasty. Their Peri Peri fries and lemon and herb chicken tasted amazing.The marination in chicken was apt and I could feel the well baked chicken. Their chicken tenders and even chicken was so well marinated. Out of the world taste. Although the ambience isn’t great but nothing matches food I will trade anything for the great food.

Found this spot on google close by to our hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey - reviews were ok and the pictures were great, however they were not reflecting the real food and the ambiance in the store. My expectations of dining in at a nice setup turned into having a fast food in paper cutlery and school cafeteria environment.Food was ok but not a five star one. The cashier was a nice guy and attentive and kind, however his kindness did not cover up other missing parts of our experience.
