my favorite is the super vegan

usama rice

Have been going to boots since about 2014. Started off in lower Manhattan but I frequent the Jersey City location every now and then. The last couple times I've visited their vegan pizza has not been up to par. Crust was thin and burnt. And the pizza was kind of flavorless as well. Hope they step their game back up.

So last I stopped at this location , bought two slices. Sat and waited briefly. Crazy thing I’ve seen in awhile. I thought it was a candid camera so …black guy came in placed order , looked normal . He paid asked to use restroom . The guy said we don’t have or it’s broke …he left .not more than 2 mins later 2 or 3 white women , possibly younger than black guy. They didn’t order yet but looked like they were..One asked to use restroom and was directed to side area ..true story . Busy Friday night in JC

Customer service skills non existent here. Asked for pick up. Said you must come in person. I come in person the whole thing is empty. So now I have to wait for pizza. When I could have been sitting in the car waiting. No parking around here. I wanted to do a quick pick up and leave. But they said they don't care that it's my fault for double parking or not being able to find parking. So I arrive and they don't have the pizza I want and now I'm waiting inside the store. When they could have told me they don't have it. It will be ready in 15min. So I could've waited in the car. Now I'm risking in getting a ticket. Because the customer service skills are non existent. Pizza is good. But people here need to work on customer service 100%

I am not sure if this location is under new management but the service over the last 3 months is awful. Time to go elsewhere. So disappointing because it used to be great

The man who was at the cash register today 5:13PM extremely sarcastic and unwelcoming. This man appeared to be under the influence of a drug for sure. I asked him for the Newman and his response was “do you see it” in a very rude manner. The bird was on display but not available. I asked how long will it take for the bird to come out and he continued to respond with sarcasm. The response I received was “my boss just said it did you hear her or is it voices in my head.” The female & the male who was ahead of me received proper response when speaking with him. When I approached was when the complete sarcasm and rude behavior was presented. I drove 52 min to come to this location from Rahway as I was in route to NY. I could have just went straight into NY to the location that I visit frequent. I have been a fan of two boots since 2011 in which I visited the location of 96th and Broadway originally. That location relocated to 71st street. I will never return to this location. I will also make sure the customers I have referred no longer support this specific location. Myself and the few people I put on to this establishment will continue to support the 71st street location and the Brooklyn location whereas the customer service is always on point.

Two Boots is an okay local pizza chain but unfortunately this location has fallen off. They don't honor the deals they advertise. Their wait time estimates for orders are wildly inaccurate, and my orders (toppings etc) are consistently wrong. Staff is rude, and you feel unwelcome and unwanted being there.

Pizza was under sauced and overcooked. Totally dry. The guy behind the counter was also really struggling just to take our order of a plain cheese slice. Not sure what was up with him.

Normally amazing and I recommend it quite often but today I ordered a cheese pizza for the kids (I can't have dairy so I can't taste it). I excitedly give it to the kids and mutliple start screaming and crying. It was insanely spicy. Crazy thing, the kids like spice so for them to cry over what should've been plain pizza... I am

Two Boots Pizza is decent, but nothing extraordinary. It's a solid option for a late-night bite, but I wouldn’t make a special trip just to eat here.

Everyone should have their favorite pizza in New York, and Two Boots is definitely mine. Each of their storefronts is a complete visually artistic whimsical delight, and a celebration of pop culture. (Their Jersey City location has an interesting beer selection too!) But come for the culture, stay for the fantastic pizza. Theirs sauce is not poured straight from a tomato can, but simmered and seasoned marvelously, and their thin, crispy (NEVER burned) crust is absolutely perfect.

Writing this is making me hungry. ?
