Violet's From Jamaica with Love

I recently purchased a large curry goat with rice and peas and plantains. The establishment itself is nice, and the workers are very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The curry goat was very chewy and seemed like it needed to be cooked longer. I also wouldn’t recommend the rice and peas, as the taste was off to me. Overall, I’d give the food a 4/10. It definitely has potential, but the food needs improvement.

Honest review. Food is delicious. Authentic Jamaica food.The women’s serving customers, need to be professional to women of other races, and lighter complexion. They have a passive aggressive attitude, pretending
they do not see you standing on the line , serving others until you voice the issue ,even talking about you to customers, as if you don’t understand. Very unprofessional and rude.

The food arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious where every single guest had something amazing to say about it all night. On top of that, the team included a special surprise (patties) with delivery, which was such a thoughtful touch and truly speaks to their exceptional customer service.

I ordered oxtail with white rice and plantains, they ran out of rice and peas. Let me just say this is the best oxtail plate I’ve had in a while, it was juicy, flavorful, and tender. Also, first time I ordered a large plate somewhere and got more oxtail than rice. 🙌🏾

This experience was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and inviting. The food portions were enough for two people and fresh. Being an authentic Jamaican myself I approve this company 100%. Oh and that cup of soup was yummy.

This is the worse food I have ever had in my life. The chicken mashed out, the rice soft and the plantains fried in old oil. Disgusting.

The food here is always ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
Last night I called right before they closed and ordered curry chicken, candied yams and white rice, it's one of my favs, but they were out of it because it sold out.
They let me know what else they had available, so I had the oxtail and rice and peas with cabbage and plantain.
When I tell you the food was so good!
I had a taste for curry chicken last night but that oxtail did not disappoint, it was so flavorful and delicious! The staff is always wonderful and friendly, plus the food is always top notch and cooked with love, that's why I'm a returning customer! Keep up the great work! ☺️

The food is good but the service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!
The Older lady serving food is rude and she never wants to give oxtail gravy like she is saving it for herself! I'm at the point where I will NOT be coming back because the food is to expensive for the horrible service given!
