I was eating an everything bagel from Wonder Bagel and bit down on something so hard. I pulled it out of my mouth, washed it off because I genuinely could not believe what it was, and it turned out to be a literal rock that appeared to be baked into the bagel.
My fiancé, who picked up the bagels, called the store right away to let them know what happened. Still, finding a rock in food is beyond unacceptable and honestly shocking. This raises major concerns about food safety and quality control.
I’ve eaten a lot of bagels in my life. Never expected to find landscaping materials in one.
