Gems House of Bagels (Keansburg)

I am visiting the area and am a bagel lover. I stopped by this place and was welcomed by Ricky and the crew. He was friendly and made my trip memorable. The bagels and cream cheese are the best I’ve ever had! A generous heaping of homemade cream cheese unlike other places. I tried crumb cake for the first time and have found a new favorite. Stop by this place and you won’t be disappointed.

I recently moved to the area and need a good bagle so I did my research and found a few spots and they sucked for varying reasons but I struck gold with this place three minutes from home I get here Sunday mornings at 630am get my dozen bagels and my scallion cream cheese and the young ladies behind the counter are adorable and so pleasant

I grew up in Keansburg but moved away when I joined the Army. I have been living in NC for 25 years and one thing I missed most was some good Jersey bagels. Well today my husband and I went to Gems and it was all I remembered and more. Lewis was impressed by how welcoming the staff was and equally impressed by how amazing their food was…now he wants to go back. We will most likely stop back in on our way back to NC tomorrow.

I bought chicken salad and it was 12.99 or more per lb and opened it ah home..(it was canned chicken with mayo) no celery,onion,salt, pepper . Chicken was Probably free from a pantry..That's it 😂 it's disgusting and insulting to the community to be robbing everyone like this. Stop being greedy like everyone else to your loyal customers. I'm done will never buy another $27 #1 whole sub again. It's sad your employees are great! but the prices and food is hwy robbery

I was introduced to this business through the use of another app. Genuinely pleased EVERY time! Friendly and polite staff. The bagels are delicious and I sometimes eat the Jalapeno cream cheese as though I am having dip. I am not fat, I am pleasantly full. 😂

If you don’t like being treated genuinely and amazingly, enjoying great food, the greatest vibes, and the best coffee in town, then this isn’t the place for you — because they have it all! This is the best spot around the Kingsborough area to get everything you need for your breakfast and deli cravings.

The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy an amazing meal and a wonderful experience. You won’t regret it!

I grew up with Gem’s in the Burg- these are the absolute BEST bagels by far!!! I can’t wait to visit this summer and get my fix 🥯 ❤️

Do not appreciate ordering 6 bagels and a quarter cream cheese and only getting 4 bagels. She was nice, but screwed up.

What a gem! We’re so glad we found this place. When you walk in the energy is warm and friendly. Everyone working was incredibly nice, which is rare now a days lol. We get the egg, cheese and hash on an everything bagel and a turkey and cheese on a plain bagel. The sandwiches are always so beautiful and packed and delicious! So happy we found this place. Will be back and absolutely recommend to others. Well done guys :)
