My friends and I had an awesome time celebrating my buddy's birthday at Nic's Hometown Tavern. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was great, along with the food. I highly recommend the place!
I came on Trivia Night. The atmosphere was fun. It looked like they were understaffed. I ordered the burger with mushrooms. After reading the reviews, I don't know if it was an off night, but the burger was OK. It didn't have much flavor. It looked like they flattened the burger. Or, maybe it's supposed to be? My first time dining here. I realized it's called smash burger, but seeing other photos from reviews it looks different. Why would they serve a flattened...
My husband and I found this place a little over 5 yrs ago. We visit once a year and let me tell you their smash burgers never disappoint. Please visit and support them. The atmosphere is pleasant and service is always good.
