“Lived in Kearny for quite some time but only went here a few times and honestly I wasn’t crazy about the food. Not that it was bad but I always always always ordered the empanadas & for some reason, the inside was always cold. I ordered other food & it was good. But it’s a great atmosphere & never seen problems or fights, cosas asi but the only complaint I definitely will say is the music. I absolutely love when bars have the music videos up or videos of live shows, but stop playing boleros at a bar. People are drinking. Wanting to have fun. Playing boleros makes people wanna kill themselves lolol. It’s super depressing. Even though the songs are great but not for a bar. Consider doing a digital jukebox where the customers pick strictly, la musica latina and you’ll most likely definitely get a bigger clientele. I know I would waste my money on it lol. “Ordered a couple dishes from here on door dash for the first time and I am impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, not one complaint about any of it. I didn’t know what to expect because the prices are so low and you just don’t see that anymore, the chicken combo was only $9. The portions are generous and even though some of it is deep fried NONE of it is greasy. Will definitely stop by next time to try more dishes.“

“WOW!! Love Love Love this little place. lt’s great! First of all, we've been looking for a good burger place in the Union City, WNY, NB area, and it’s been tough, usually they’re mediocre at best, but not this one.
We walked jn and were warmly greeted. Our server was so sweet! She handed us a menu, which looks like an ipad, and there were so many choices, with pictures of the what the food looks like.
My bf and I ordered 2 burgers because we were in a burger mood. I can say that it definitely wasn’t a disappointment! The burgers were juicy, tasty and big! Definitely the Best burger we’ve had in the area.

The place is small, but so charming with all the decor. And they have a TV screen which shows how all the food is prepared. definitely makes you hungry!

Granted, the burgers were messy but definitely worth it! Besides the fact that they give you utensils.

As we were walking out, we ran into one of the owners, And we had to tell him how much we loved the place and the food.

Parriyas is absolutely a great choice for sandwiches and bowls and the wonderful service!

“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.
I highly recommend if you want Colombian Food or soup this place will suffice.

“Looking for a place to eat some Spanish food in the area, we gladly end up here. Service from the only waitress that night was exceptional and very professional. The place is big and I believe because it was late at night was almost empty, I.saw a lots of take out orders do. Now here you will find the typical freezers/coolers with all kinds of colombian sodas, desserts and what not. They do have a good variety in the bakery section. And the food was surprisingly good with a good flavor and presentation. Prices were reason too. Overall if we ever come back to this area we will be paying a visit to this place again“

We chose a variety of dishes, and greatly enjoyed the guacamole, various meat dishes, and seafood dishes.“

It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish but the staff speak enough English that it's okay.

The special of the day is fantastic. I recommend the fish.

Parking: Street parking is easiest but you can probably park at the city lot down the street or at the post office if you have to.“

“I go to this restaurant at least 2 times per month. Everything on the menu is great. Prices are cheaper than the other restaurants near by. Food is colombian but the owners are mexican but don't be fooled thinking that taste is not the same because it IS THE SAME TASTE OF COLOMBIAN FOOD. They do have customers parking in rear. Don't park across the street in the banks parking lot you will get towed as it happened to a friend of mine“

“A bit disappointed 😔 that they charge me 5 dollars for a side of 3tostonnes because they don’t substitute arepas but keep it in mind they did not serve them and 31 dollars for the Patrona Drink is a bit pricey. Overall the food was very good and service was great.“

“Great hidden spot for some authentic Colombian food. They have three (3) different dishes of the typical Colombian plate: Bandeja Paisa. Also, it is a BYOB. There is parking onsite. I have not had a bad time here. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended.“
