“What a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I personally enjoyed the steamed potstickers more than the fried. And one of my favorite things that I enjoyed was the Yuka fries with the green dill sauce that accompanied the pork chop. The manager Juan was attentive and friendly.PROS:-atmosphere-food-food presentation-service-water (it tastes like chlorine in a lot of restaurants, but it actually tastes good here)CONS:-bread pudding: wasn’t horrible, but don’t recommend- I wish they had more non-alcoholic drink options other than soda“

“Have not been here in years. Service was amazing. Our server Tim was the best. The owner was so friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Atmosphere was family friendly and great for all ages. Very reasonably priced. Bonus- upstairs if you want to host a party. We will definitely be going back. We highly recommend the Firehouse“

“Googled a breakfast place and this place popped up. Street parking is free before 9:00 a.m. which was nice, atmosphere was classic Mom and Pop diner. Server was friendly and energetic, got our food in less than 5 minutes, everything was perfect. I had the iced tea unsweetened it was very good, my sister had coffee black said it was some of the best coffee she'd ever had. We both got omelets hash browns and a meat side everything was spot on prices were very reasonable probably going back again tomorrow morning before we head back home.“

“i don't know if you've ever had Yamaradas before it went out of business and became "El Arco" but i remember eating chorizo con huevo from yamaradas as a kid and being disappointed when i found out it closed because i don't like that plate from many other restaurants but im happy to say that La Morenita had nastalgia with every scoop with the tortilla, lone behold one of the owners (and or) cooks from yamaradas works at la morenita, if you haven't tried this spot i highly recommend“

“Been coming to Gee Whiz for over 10 years on my visits to New York - I choose to ignore all the tourist traps in Midtown and come down here. Always a friendly welcome from the staff, the portions are generous and very keenly priced (given it is Manhattan). Only had breakfast here on a couple of occasions, the Eggs Rancheros and the omelets are amazing! It was downsized considerably a few years ago (I believe the original owner opened another establishment known as Tribeca's Kitchen on the corner of nearby Chambers and Duane Street, and sadly he passed away during COVID.“

“If you’re hungry and you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food, head over there. The food is delicious. We had ceviche, chauffa and fish soup. The picture of the fish soup really doesn’t do it justice. The service was timely and super friendly. We had to return during the week because during the weekend, the place was filled up already. You have to be lucky to get a table.“
