“The restaurant was clean.
The staff was friendly. They timed our courses well. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and had a good flavor. They are generous with their portions. They offer lunch specials during the week. We will definitely eat there again. The Restaurant is on a major East/West road and is close to the Garden State Parkway. There is a Hilton Hotel next door so on Weekends in the Summer it can get crowded. So it is better to make reservations. We went midweek about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. It was getting busy by the time we left.

Parking: The restaurant has plenty of parking around the building. They have handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building.“

“Sweet Carolina Barbecue Tims River is the best! The brisket is tender, juicy and flavorful!!! The cornbread is vey moist it melts in your mouth! The best baked beans and Cole slaw are delicious! Those are my family’s favorites! Their pulled pork and chicken is also very good! They also make a delicious whole chicken!!! The food is great! The service is wonderful! They go out of their way to help make a delicious meal for your party wither it is for 5 or 20+ people. I have had them cater my parties and everyone loves Sweet Carolinas Bbq!! Give them a try you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you for always making my parties food a success!!!“

“Catered my son's birthday party from the Hickory Hog yesterday. We live 45 minutes away but we just had to have their food for his party. It traveled really well and everyone raved about the food. The ribs and the teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple were big hits... BUT the pulled pork and the corn fritters were the crowd faves!!! The owner is awesome and the customer service is top notch. “After hearing such great things about this restaurant, I made my way down 9 South to see for myself. First off, I was greeted with smiles and an owner proud of his menu. Loved that. I told him it was my first time and he allowed me to try several flavors. I like to think of myself as a wing connoisseur.. I had teriyaki, Buffalo, garlic Parm and Lemon Pepper. Listen, the flavors are fantastic! You will not be disappointed here. This is the best wing spot in Howell.. Hands down!“

“While we usually have a great experience here and usually go 1 a month lately, last night, the food really missed the mark. Burger was terrible. The lemon garlic chicken could have had more flavor, though it was anything but dry. We usually just get the steaks but opted for something else, clearly was a bad decision on our part. Drinks were great. Service was great.“
