I just bought a piece of the Easter ricotta pie and wheat pie, along with a raspberry pastry and a loaf of Italian. The only thing that was good was the bread and raspberry pastry. I spent 17.00. The pieces of the ricotta pie and wheat pie were disgusting. I used a spoon for a few bites. I’m not sure if they changed the type of ricotta or have a new baker (s) . My Mother made these pies for years then I did. I always bought these from Elsa’s for Easter 24 and now Easter...
One of the very few bakeries in Monmouth County south and north OCEAN County, that is authentic, well stocked with daily fresh baked Italian pastries, cookies and cakes. The bakery is well laid out and delicious smells permeate the interior. This is 5 star!
The birthday cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. The cake was moist and the chocolate mousse filling was light and tasty. Best cake in the area and reasonably priced. Highly recommend bakery!
