This place was recommended by a local, so we wanted to make it work. Although the host was fantastic, the food was mediocre and the service was worse. The beef in the bao buns was dry and overly sauced. Ropa vieja from the tapas tower was tasteless, well no, only cumin must have been available. The rest of the tapas items were just “meh” for the price. Server came to check on us once and barely cared to proactively bring plates for us to share.

Unfortunately, we came on a Tuesday and didn’t realize that a lot of the shops and restaurants in the area were closed. We decided to stop here since they had just opened, so we ordered just salad and vegetable empanads ( the sald was extremely small ) then headed back home.
Everything was nice, and our waiter was super friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a good experience, and I’ll definitely be back again to try more when it’s busier...

When I took my friends there on Monday, the food and service were great (as always!), but... man... the fly situation inside was overwhelming and left me feeling grossed out.
