Was grabbing lunch in this plaza and came across the Golden Bread Bake Shop. Cute older man was busy baking fresh breads and pastries in the oversized commercial ovens. He meticulously rotated the breads for even baking/browning and the smell was so tempting. I was introduced to Filipino cuisine by a friend of mine and saw the cashew tarts. Great little Filipino bakery. It looks like they bake right on premises and deliver to other Filipino restaurants/places in the area. It's a very small place, with only enough room to stand/walk to the one fridge, two racks, or checkout counter . There with maybe 20-30 different types of baked goods. Priced very well. The chicken empanadas are out of this world, and they tasted even better warmed up! Also try their purple yam cake if you can, not overly sweet, and perfectly moist, every bite is divine!
