I had the vegetable ramen and my husband had the beef ramen. We both thought our ramen soups were very good! Next time I’d like to try one of their Thai soups. “A cozy little Taiwanese joint in Harrison, NJ. I ordered the salt & pepper chicken bento — the fried chicken was super crispy and juicy, and the portion was bigger than expected. What really stood out was their homemade chili oil — rich, fragrant, and perfectly spicy. The side dishes were thoughtful and balanced, not just fillers. Great vibes, warm service, and a menu full of familiar flavors. I’ll be back.“

“Stopped by for some takeout before heading back to Brooklyn and was presently surprised. The shop is no frills basic Chinese and Japanese takeout. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.“

“I love this place, it's my go to lunch after school. I always order their lunch special which is 2 rolls of sushi with miso soup and a salad for around 12 dollars. I've only tried their sushi but i can say it's one of the most delicious sushi restaurant I've been at. The workers there are also very nice.“

“We have been going to the Magic Grill for over 30 years. It is quick - if you want but never rushed if you don't. We love that everyone gets to select their own ingredients from 3 meats- chicken, pork , beef- super thinly sliced-12 or so vegetarian choice- zucchini, bok choy, onions, carrots, pineapple, peppers, baby corns, chives and a variety of sauces to suite every taste.“

I especially appreciate the options of separate checks and allowing external cakes to be brought in for special occasions. “This is a typical Chinese American place. In addition to the usual fare, they also offer fruit teas. The takeout is decent, and the staff are quick to take the order. I've never had a problem with the takeout service-wise. The restaurant itself was a bit dim in the day, and I wasn't sure where the extra seating was, but I also didn't go beyond the cashier. Overall, it's a decent spot in the area to scratch that Chinese American food itch.“

The person taking the order on the phone took time to answer my questions and spoke clearly. The driver was courteous as well. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. Recently we had dinner here a few times and something has changed. The decor has been updated as has the menu and the wait staff is much, much better. Sakura has a parking lot as well as options to park on the street. We never wait when we come here and it's BYOB, so we enjoy bringing our own selection of sake or wines.

“I really liked the buffet, there were lots of options, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The staff was very helpful and reactive for any questions. I liked the dessert options with ice cream too. It was not too crowded at the time we arrived for lunch so we didn’t have any wait time.“

We came seeking Chinese takeout, which exceeded our expectations. They offer combo platters, which would be perfect for lunch. Their egg rolls and fried rice are both excellent rivaling what I remember growing up in Queens. We tried the sesame chicken, which was good, featuring all white meat. Their eggplant in garlic sauce was fantastic, as was the egg foo young.

The restaurant was quite large and very clean. They had adequate seating and can accommodate large parties. The staff was friendly and the service efficient. The takeout was packaged extremely well.
