Friendly owner; delicious food
We ordered Cairo Falafel through Uber Eats, and overall it was a really great experience! The platters were flavorful and filling, but the absolute standout for me was the grilled veggie pita with fresh hummus. I honestly haven’t had anything like it before — the vegetables were perfectly charred, the pita was soft and warm, and the hummus tied everything together so well. Just thinking about it now has my mouth watering.

The chicken gyro platter is delicious!
Based on the reviews, Cairo Falafel offers a really great experience with consistent, fresh, and delicious food. The grilled veggie pita with fresh hummus is a standout, with perfectly charred vegetables and soft, warm pita. The lamb gyro is highly recommended, and the Mint lemonade is described as light and invigorating. The grilled meats are delish, and the breads, humus, and babaghanoush are delicious. The service is great, and the staff are extremely friendly, kind, and gentle. A chicken and lamb gyro platter was also delicious.
However, the falafel, while having good flavor, can be a little too dry. There is also a concern about the rice, which can smell old, especially in catering trays, though single servings seem fine. Sandwiches are considered the best way to go. The wait times can be a little long but are worth it. There is metered parking behind the restaurant if roadside parking is not available.
