“I tried this ice cream place with my 5 year old little boy tonight for the first time ever and was excited! My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️“

“I went here for the 1st time yesterday after hearing other people I know rave about it. I described it to my husband as “like Chipotle, but Mediterranean and way better!” I chose a mix of grains and greens as my base. For the grains, they let me get a little of 2 different ones (couscous and bulgur) and I chose kale & arugula for the greens. The 2 proteins I chose were chicken (tasted like seasoned and grilled thighs) and falafel (best I’ve had). There were SO many toppings to choose from, but I got shredded carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, white bean salad, a parsley quinoa salad, garlic hummus, baba ganoush, pickled beets and a spicy eggplant thing they said is a fan favorite (so good). I chose the spicy yogurt dressing on the side. Since it was my 1st time, they also put a little tzatziki on the side too and that was my fav. You can taste that it is fresh made in-house. I went home and ate half. Well, that didn’t last long! The clean and healthy ingredients just made it feel good to eat. The other half was just a half hour later! Highly recommend!!!“

Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. “First time here, we wanted to go to a meadery so I googled and found this place. We definitely wanted to take the trip to visit. There is a parking lot, you do have to pay attention when looking for the suite because you can easily pass it. Once inside, spacious, they have a bar as well as seating within the facility. They serve cider and mead-great size menu. We ordered flights, good mead-I would definitely recommend.“

Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. Manila Cafe is a traditional Filipino grocery store & restaurant with turo-turo ("point-point" in Filipino) style counter service where you point at what you want.

The pancit and pork sisig were great. But the real reason we stopped by was the craving for some halo halo dessert after an unusually warm & sticky September day! Masarap! We also picked up some awesome ube flavored polveron cookies that aren't easy to find, even at other Filipino stores in the state.“

On the healthier side you can go unhealthy I recommend the pita chips with crazy feta (whipped feta, onions, and jalapeños) it has a tiny kick not hot at all. You can pick what they offer whatever is in the bowls they recommend but just choose what you want that's what I do.“

“This is one of the nicest Thai places that I know of in SJ. I've been to a lot but only really review ones that I love.

Now as a disclaimer, and you can see in other people's posts, that the portion sizes are not what you typically see in this country. We all seem to be accustomed to taking something home. This is not the case here and to be honest, I prefer that.

Walking in, it seemed like with 2-3 people running the store that we might have to wait some time. This was not the case and we were tended to immediately and did not have to wait long for the food. Plus, the place is small and very cozy.

We got a drink, the crispy tofu appetizer (which was very soft on the inside and very crispy on the outside- and the sauce was thicker than usual, helping it stick!), tom yum soup, fried rice, and spicy drunken noodle. Everything was cooked perfectly. The noodles were springy. Both dishes were flavorful without being too salty. It felt like it would get too salty but it never made it that far.

Since we were going to the planetarium afterwards, we really didn't want to have leftovers and we were appropriately full- not too overstuffed and not still hungry.“
