CASALDI’S in Linwood for the win! Celebrated our anniversary last night with an antipasto app (6 choices): double order grilled artichokes, single order mozzarella, prosciutto, stuffed cherry peppers and soppressata (drizzled with a balsamic glaze). For dinner I had June’s Rigatoni which is the rigatoni tossed with Casaldi’s blush sauce, peas and pancetta, topped with a crispy chicken cutlet. Walked in at 6:30 on a Sunday evening without a reservation and we're seated immediately as a table of 4. Matthew was our server and was very knowledgeable of the menu and did a great job with our orders and communicating with us throughout the meal. Service was prompt and our Cesar salads were out in about 5 minutes along with bread and seasoned olive oil which were both delicious. I actually wrote this a few years ago but forgot to hit the send button. Here it is with an update for most recent visit. The King shared a very delicious caprese salad with the Queen, then ordered the chicken cacciatore as the entree as did one other in our four person party. The King was pleased with his dinner as it was very tasty as was the accompanying veggies and rice. The King’s friend ordered his with pasta, but wasn’t quite as pleased.
