Takes me back to the old school Ireland Coffee days when we were all smell the roasting of coffee beans. Steph is friendly and the crêpes are out of this world. “I have eaten here twice. Once was in the fall, and now today, right before Christmas. The ambiance is the most charming! I loved it as soon as I walked in. Some places that are adorned aren’t kept very tidy. Jon & Patty’s is VERY clean! Never do you worry about dust or debris. The coffee and apple cider are AMAZING! You will miss out if you don’t treat yourself to one of them. I personally suggest the cider. I normally NEVER get cider anywhere… but this cider is next level! The food is fantastic… definitely try the nutty chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. Jon and Patty’s is sure to please!“

“Hobby Horse Ice Cream Parlor & Cafe is a charming stop with a nostalgic atmosphere that fits Ocean City perfectly. The vintage interior gives it a classic ice cream parlor feel, making it a fun place to visit.

The ice cream was very good, with a nice selection of flavors to choose from. Prices were reasonable, the portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Its location is another big plus, making it an easy stop while walking around town or after spending time at the beach.

“We wandered into Forno while waiting for the Anna Lapwood concert at Boardwalk Hall last Friday evening. We were not hungry, but were looking for a drink before the concert. There was a woman out front who gave us a wonderful rundown on all the drinks they served, so in we went. It was quiet and not crowded at that point, and we had nice (mostly low-alcohol, but delicious) drinks and enjoyed the clean, modern ambiance. More and more people started arriving to eat, and the food looked so delicious that we decided to order a slice of pizza and share it. Best decision ever! The pizza is amazing, crusty and bready, with cupped pepperoni whose edges were just singed and crispy enough. I only wish we had been truly hungry and could have eaten more. Do not miss this place when you're on the boardwalk!“

“We live year-round in Ocean City and live exclusively on all the incredible, amazing delicacies at ANEU, 55th Street, for lunch and dinner. We wish this location was open all year but at this time they are open during the summer only. There is thankfully another ANEU location in Margate which currently is open all year, so I will be ordering through the main Paoli location and pickup all our food at the Margate location here https://aneucatering.com/ocean-city-%2F-margate. The reason we love ANEW is because everything is real, whole food ingredients, with no added preservatives, chemicals, etc., and is top quality all hand made daily by their incredible chefs in-house. They have the most amazing variety of proprietary recipes from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner items. The salads are out of this world and not available anywhere else, only at ANEU. You can even choose from pre-cooked, uncooked, or frozen for many of the lunch and dinner items depending on your schedule. Also available fresh daily are custom pastries and desserts to die for. They even have breakfast sandwiches! The staff is amazing. Somehow the ANEW culture of friendly, professional, customer service still exists at its finest throughout the entire staff. A special shout-out to Deanna in the Ocean City location for her contribution to the top-notch service that you are guaranteed to experience. I could go on and on, but to make a long story short let me close by simply saying that ANEW is by far the "BEST IN CLASS" in South Jersey and we are customers for life. “I absolutely love me a good Starbucks, but this store was amazing. Service was awesome. Don’t remember my server‘s name. She was a light skin curly head girl super sweet made my Americano perfectly. The music wasn’t too loud. It wasn’t busy at all. It was a rainy day. The restroom was pretty clean. They have an outside patio setting. Their pastries appear to be freshly made nothing empty on the shelf. They were fully stacked and prepared for service. Definitely will be coming back during my grocery shopping trips“

“Pat and his team are great. I don't know why it took so long to review lol. This is the closest Starbucks to my house. I always get great service and a smile going in or at the drive thru. They are engaging and interactive. This is the way Starbucks should be at all locations. They all used to be. They will hand you your drinks and tell a joke along the way. I know when there is filler staff in there. They are less interactive. I also have confirmed it by one of them. Pat must work hard on having his team be happy and cheerful and interactive. It really makes the difference. His team needs to be the Starbucks training team.

My only over time critique. Sometimes they don't always write on the cups and sometimes it's only a smile face or yum. They should always write a sentence at least. You know the have a nice day or something. Have the interactive fun go to the cups too not just the face to face.“

I'm not a big fan of working in coffee shops but it had to do at the moment, and I have no complaints. “I go to this Starbucks year round and today (day after Fourth of July) I did a mobile order and almost fell outta my seat when it said it would be 30 mins for a cold brew. After googling it and realizing I couldn’t cancel the order, I settled in to the back of the crowd to wait for my coffee. Place was packed. And ya know what? These workers were hustling! They were bobbing and weaving and getting these drinks and orders out. They all did a great job and ya know what, my drink came out a minute earlier than it was estimated. Well worth me being ten mins late to work. Great job!“

“My wife has a gluten allergy. At a few minutes before 6pm (November 5, 2022), she and I went to Tazza to get a coffee with non-dairy creamer and asked if they had any gluten free items. We were told yes. We were told they had gluten free blueberry muffins on the top left shelf of the display (on your right if you are by the cash register). We bought one to split and a coffee and sat down by the Caesar Augustus statue (wishing well pool). My wife took a bite out of the muffin and said it doesn't taste gluten free. I went back to the cashier and asked what flour they use in the gluten free blueberry muffins, and the woman looked confused saying they didn't have gluten free anything. She said they have sugar free items. I asked her again and pointed at the very same muffins we bought from, and she said those are sugar free. I asked to talk to the manager and explained my wife's health issue and what happened. Her simple response is "I'm sorry but we only have sugar free and regular items. we do not have gluten free." That was it. Nothing else was to console my wife who's birthday trip to AC is now CUT SHORT and we are driving home as fast as possible (we have an hour and a half drive home). We spent $ 9.33 for this. My wife is already feeling sick from it and I hope she doesn't spend the WHOLE NIGHT IN THE BATHROOM OR WORSE Please pray for my wife. .“
