Generals Chicken was on Par. The Chicken fried rice was excellent. The fried dumplings were average. The cheapest part of the meal, egg rolls…the stole the show. Best egg roles in south Jersey. I gave five stars because it was quality food, no funkiness at all. I enjoyed the meal, I am trying the Singapore Noodles next time. Definitely more egg rolls. Definitely coming back for more. I had given up on finding a decent Chinese restaurant in the area, but was pleasantly surprised by Empress. The food was fresh, tasty, and the portions were good. It helped we could pick it up and only live around the corner, but still the food was good. I really liked the wonton soup, the feeling was flavorful and deep brown; not gray and questionable. Thanks for the yummy food.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the state and possibly on the east coast in terms of price, service and quality. They have the best dumplings I've ever had, and they prepare it quickly and deliver it faster than any restaurant in the area. Their prices are half that of the other Chinese joints around, and the food is substantially better. This is the only Chinese restaurant you should be ordering from.
