If you are a zzam phong noodle guy, you should try it here. I requested making it spicier and it was insane. I highly recommend. If you request it spicier, the food has a taste of fire.

Very disappointed with quality of noodle. It used to be awesome, but not anymore. They want to cut corners by not putting main ingredients. I won't go there

Inside the Hackensack Hmart is a food court. And inside that food court is this humble little food stall, where I go whenever the craving for a bowl of Korean black bean noodles hits. Jjajangmyun is a popular Korean-Chinese dish made from black bean paste, meat, and diced vegetables. When I'm suddenly fixin' for that slurpy bowl of saucy noodles, this is where I come.
Why? Because it's close to my commute, it's quick and casual, reasonably priced, and consistently good. As an added bonus, there are lots of other offerings in the food court in case my eating mate didn't want to eat the same thing.
Ordering is simple. Go to the counter, place your order, and they'll give you a receipt with a number. If you find seats nearby, there's a little screen at the stall that tells you when your order is ready for pickup. If you end up sitting far away, don't fret. There's an automated loudspeaker that clearly calls out stalls and ready order numbers.
My go-to order here is (of course) the jjajangyun. The menu offers a small variety - regular (with meat and veggies), uni, and spicy. Spice lovers, you're going to love the spicy jjajangmyun (#4 on the menu). The jjajang sauce is also delicious on rice, and I've loved the shrimp fried rice with it.
Serving sizes are decent, and it comes with the tiniest cup of yellow pickled radishes (a standard condiment for this dish).

Ordered Jjampong and chicken dish to go. It was very delicious. Especially their Jampong it was on point. One of the better I’ve had.
Edit: wow it has changed. I had given them five stars before , but have to change it. I ordered the spicy seafood jam point noodle soup and it was so disgusting. The shrimp and other seafood I it was rancid.

The name of this food court restaurant is jjampong (Korean spicy seafood noodles). Then you should order jjampong from this place.
That’s exactly what I did and pleasantly found out the best jjampong eatery in NJ is located inside a food court. Hmart food court in Little Ferry to be precise.
I don’t know about other entrees served at this place, but jjampong is beyond solid.

“Tray” Jjajang is the best in New Jersey.
It's enough food for two people.
And Jjamppong is good too.

The food is good, but pricey. $17 for about a cup and a half of fried rice.
BUT, the cashier (perhaps the owner) is RUDE. He doesn’t know what good customer service is.
I ordered chicken fried rice and when I realized that it may not be ready soon, I went to buy milk tea. I came back in more or less 10 minutes. I saw than there are two fried rice on the counter, I asked gently if my chicken fried rice is ready yet. He was finished putting food on the tray. He rudely answered, “If you it did not buzz then it is not ready.” Told him, I dont have the buzzer. He was rude in telling me go on the corner, blah, blah, blah. Instead of offering a solution he was so annoyed with the whole situation. Showed him my bank transaction since I paid card and he was doubtful… long story short, his staff saw the ticket he could not find and he wa like “why did it appeared there
“. Ending he gave me the rice sitting on the counter and made more remarks like “u interrupted me when i was working blah blah” oh my gosh! I was trembling

The jjamppong is full of fiery flavor, so in my opinion, this is the best jjamppong restaurant in New Jersey haha.

I ordered jjamppong rice, but there was very little content.
2 shrimp, 2 empty mussel shells, cabbage that was burnt heavily to give it a bad taste, carrots, onions, and 6 pieces of seafood mix... .Floating soot… The soup is just salty enough...
The prices are not cheap compared to other Chinese restaurants.
Thinking about it makes me irritated again.
Never going again.
