I was extremely disappointed with Palermo’s. They are well-known for their cakes but honestly after using them for my gender reveal I don’t think I’ll ever go back there. Our reveal was the actual cake and on the cake it should have said “it’s a boy.” Instead, we got a cake that said “Is’t a boy” along with stars that already looked like they were melting. Not sure who worked on our cake but it seemed rushed. If you want a cake that’s done right.. I suggest going to another spot.

I was given 2 choices from my wedding venue (bridgewater manor) palermo or calandra - after doing each taste test I knew palermo was the one for me. The taste test was the best part, you get 16 different flavors to sample all in a cute to go box to sample where you want with your fiance. The flavors are out of this world!! I did a 4 tier cake (mango mousse, 24K carrot cake, dulce de leche and french raspberry) there is an upcharge for mango mousse and 24K but it was for sure worth it. I sent over Leighann my design and her and the team nailed it! Highly recommend palermo for your wedding cake!

I have been ordering cakes with LeighAnn for the last 7 years. Not only are the cakes delicious and done to perfection, but LeighAnn makes the ordering and customizing experiencing amazing. She is always flexible, accommodating and so so sweet! Always a pleasure to work with.
The cup dessert is not nice. I think the prices are expensive and they FORCED us to take tips.

I ordered a Palermo’s Bakery wedding Cake for my New Jersey December 2023 wedding and tasting that cake with my husband was truly a slice of heaven! Not only did our cake look beautiful but it tasted delicious which I was honestly not expecting! I thought we3dding cakes just all looked beautiful, I didn’t realize they could taste this good! We had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and CANOLLI cream filling which was AMAZING! I honestly still crave it to this day! We added our own little doggie figurines to our cake, and it looked perfect when displayed at our wedding! We skipped the cake tasting because we ran out of time but honestly, we didn’t need it! Palermo’s delivered a PERFECT wedding cake for us, and it exceeded our expectations the day of our wedding! I 100% recommend you utilize Palermo’s Bakery for your Wedding Cake and honestly any of your other cake needs for your special events!

Two tiers were chocolate cake w/ a chocolate-hazelnut filling, & one tier was vanilla cake w/ a light lemon filling. Can't thank the Palermo's team enough for contributing to our special day!
