Our experience last night was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it.
My friends and I drove almost two hours to try this restaurant. We had just been seated, and less than a minute later a girl server came over asking if we were ready to order. We hadn’t even had a chance to look at the menu yet, and it immediately made us feel rushed instead of welcomed.
During the meal, our server was actually wonderful. He was patient, attentive, and did a great job helping us with the barbecue. He deserves credit because he was the highlight of our visit.
Unfortunately, the ending completely ruined the experience. My younger brother had just gotten his first credit card and wanted to treat all of us to dinner. When he went to the front to pay, the employee at the register looked at the receipt and bluntly said, “No tip?” There was no smile, no courtesy—just a rude attitude that made everyone uncomfortable.
The ironic part is that we were planning to leave a cash tip for our server, and we did. Being confronted and pressured for a tip before we even had the chance to leave it was incredibly unprofessional.
If tipping is mandatory, then simply add an automatic gratuity instead of making customers feel guilty or embarrassed. One employee’s attitude completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant meal.
Sadly, after driving two hours for this experience, we won’t be coming back.

Ordered delivery via DoorDash. The food packaging is excellent—completely sealed and spill-proof—and everything tasted very good and was cooked well.
My main issue was the meat portion on the Galbi combo. I paid extra for double meat, and it still felt skimpy. It looks like a lot of food when you open it, but it’s mostly just a large mound of rice hiding a small amount of galbi. Without paying for double meat, you’re probably only getting 3-4 small pieces.
The side items (dumplings, kimchi, beef radish soup, cabbage, broccoli) were nice additions, and the Spicy Rice Cakes ($7.50) were okay, though I’d skip them in the future. Tasty meal overall, but they need to be a bit more generous with the protein for takeout.

As food and travel enthusiasts, we’ve had Korean BBQ all over the world, and Cast Iron Pot delivers a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, the atmosphere is lively, and the service truly stands out. The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived, frequently checking in, changing the grill when needed, and making sure we always had everything we needed.
The only reason for the 4-star rating is the quality of the meat. While the selection is generous, we were expecting more premium cuts with better marbling and tenderness. Upgrading the meat quality would elevate the entire experience and easily make this one of the top Korean BBQ destinations in the area.
If you’re looking for great service, a spotless restaurant, and a fun place to enjoy Korean BBQ with family or friends, Cast Iron Pot is definitely worth a visit.

I’ve visited this place multiple times, and the service always leaves a bitter aftertaste. The staff often feels insincere and unfriendly.
During my last visit, the waiter made several condescending remarks that made me feel quite uncomfortable. A prime example was when I asked for more sauce; he jokingly asked, 'What, are you drinking it?'which I found to be completely uncalled for. The hostess, as well, consistently acts in an arrogant manner.
Most shockingly, after I had already paid my bill, I was asked to leave while I was finishing the last 10 minutes of a football game because a large group had arrived. I hadn’t even been there for two hours. Despite the food being fine, this experience was very disappointing and has left me with a negative impression.
Always a good time when we go here. All the employees are great and food is fresh. AYCE at its best. We are regulars here and they have seasonal additions to the menu.
The food is amazing 👏 I loved the spicy beef soup.
Went on a Tuesday evening with a party of four. We beat the dinner rush and were immediately seated. Our server's name was Minwoo and he did a great job tending to our table and at least one other. We made many requests (like more lettuce, rice, etc.) which he handled quickly and pleasantly. The other staff did a nice job too of switching out the used cast iron plates. They serve alcohol too, but we did not have any. By the time we left, we were all stuffed and people were waiting for tables.
I love their hangar and top blade steak!! I also like their beef brisket. Also, I always order their calamari and beef raddish soup. This is my favorite Korean BBQ since they cook it for you. Unlike other places where u have to cook it yourself.
Great service
Listed to close at 12:00AM. Went in on 06/07 around 10pm and was told by staff they were closing at 11:00pm so they couldn’t serve anymore

Totally worth the 1hr travel for us! I love the variety of food you can get and the lemonades. I also love the fact that they cook the meat for you. All you have to do is sit and enjoy. Aa formeats that is notorious for popping, they have a cover for that. You dont have to worry about anything but enjoying yourselves!

Was having a great time with a friend until I ordered a soju and was told that our 2-hour dining limit was up, even though it actually wasn’t. I understand why a policy like that would be in place, but on a day when the restaurant wasn’t busy, it honestly felt like we were being kicked out. Overall, while the food was good, the staff didn’t come across as very friendly or welcoming.

Phenomenal Service from Michael today!! My husband, baby, and I had an amazing time. He was very attentive, kind, and we didn’t even have to ask for any refills since he had them ready for us! Above and beyond. 10/10
