Turning Point of Little Silver

First time at this location, probably the last for Little Silver. French Toast was okay, waffles and chicken were decent, wish it had more flavor but it was a nice portion. The hot chocolate didn’t taste very good, reminded me of the packets you buy from the store with hot tap water. From the start I didn’t get a very welcoming vibe and it felt a bit stuck up, waitress didn’t seem too thrilled to be there, I get it, work sucks, but it’s just not very professional. I asked to get a bill split and when we went up to the register, the bill was cut down the middle and I did about 10%, maybe not perfect but for the feeling I got from the service and the quick interaction, I left a small tip. So did my partner, we always tip. Better than no tip at all. As we were walking out the server then said out loud with a smart tone, “wow, love 1 dollar tips!” to an older couple behind us. We tipped more than just “a dollar” and it was very unprofessional and just immature, I know other people would’ve not tipped at all or said something but I let it go and just walked out, knowing I wouldn’t be coming back here. Times are tough, just be grateful and kind to your customers. Maybe if she was more focused on being a decent human being she would’ve gotten better treatment, I know would’ve liked that. You get what you put in. Thank you. I don’t remember her name but im sure she’ll know remember this if she reads this review. Staff needs an upgrade.

Meghan when above and beyond for us we came here as a family of five with a 6-month-old and a 4-year-old and she couldn't have been better. Thank you so much for the amazing service the food was incredible and we had so much fun what a beautiful and fun spot will definitely be there again can't wait to see you again Meghan!

Great little place! The food and coffee is always on point, and the staff is excellent. This one girl kim, or kristen is usualy our server and never misses a beat!

Dining at the restaurant is pleasant and the food is always good at this location, however when I order through door dash from this location it gets screwed up. Does someone check the recipets and bags before they go out? Is there a process for this. This has four times on delivery. First a side of meat was missed then a drink. Another time a side of pancakes and the last time which was today no oatmeal??? Very frustrating to have to call the restaurant and ask for rest of my order and even harder to get my money back from door dash. Food is still good but your take process really sucks!

I hate to leave bad reviews but we have never had an issue till today. It wasn’t busy but the food took forever. My daughter had to take her food Togo. When they brought out the food he told me that he would bring the syrup. I had to ask him 2 times because he forgot. The pancakes were already cold. Never did we get more water. I get it!It happens. I also ordered pancakes to go but we were forgotten we had gotten our check and waited an extra 25 min. The food was good. Just sad todays service isn’t like it has been in the past.

Sat at counter. Server, Mary, was welcoming and gracious. Had several other customers and was also making coffee drinks for other waitstaff. Attentive and pleasant always.

my best friend Owen Smock made my already amazing Turning Point experience even better than i could’ve ever expected. The way he softly danced over my table to deliver me my food. The way he politely asked me if I needed more water in my already empty cup. What a guy. Hiring my great friend was likely the best decision you have ever made. The unbelievably great service he provided me with simply brightened my day. Giving him anything short of 5 stars would be a viscous crime. Just, what a guy.

Love, Love Turning Point of Little Silver!!! Happy to find them 20+ years ago. Staff is wonderful, go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Mike the coffee barista/waiter ALWAYS greats us with a smile and is quick to get us our much needed first cup of coffee!!! He is professional as well as friendly and frequently pops by our table to see if we need anything. The menu has many options for both breakfast and lunch and GF bread is available. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean. The staff and mangers are wonderful, warm and welcoming, the food is always delicious and fresh. TP of Little Silver is our #1 choice for breakfast/lunch!!!!!

I've been going to the Holmdel, Little Silver and Long Branch Turning Point restaurants for years and love the atmosphere and good food. Though I have never left a review, I need to give a shout out to a server in Little Silver who really went out of his way to make my recent visit with a friend a wonderful time. Thanks to Michael Goga for being so warm, welcoming, friendly and diligent. He was fantastic!
