Best soul food we’ve ever had! My fiancé and I tried this restaurant for the first time, and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and we even called to check to see if they had a few items and the service was fantastic. Our favorite dish was the collard greens, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

I recently placed a catering order with A Mother’s Touch Bistro and Cafe for an office event, requesting an 11:00 AM delivery. The owner assured me this would not be an issue, but the driver arrived 35 minutes late, cutting into the limited time I had to set up before my event started at 12:00 PM.

Additionally, no disposable utensils or serving spoons were provided, which was not communicated in advance. This left me scrambling to find alternatives with only 20 minutes to spare. When I followed up with the owner the next morning to share my experience, she became defensive, stating that they do not provide utensils with catering orders and that I should asked for it or already had them for my event. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she told me that she does things her way, and I do things my way. She came across as dismissive and insensitive.

While the food may have been good, the lack of clear communication, professionalism, and timeliness made for a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this restaurant for time-sensitive catering unless all expectations are confirmed in writing upfront.

Hi I work in the area went here to try some southern egg rolls because one of my coworkers said it was good went there they didn't even know I was in the restaurant because the pods was in her ear then she didn't have any made said her cook didn't let her know that they were all gone so I got a little 7 $collard greens not even filled up and I saw no turkey in them!! no thank you I will stay in the hood with solo food its better and you get more for your buck sighed never again

I have always wanted to try the food from the quaint bistro. Gurrrrrl, the service and food surpassed my whole entire expectation. I will be ordering again soon. Certainly is a mother's touch of tastey soul food.

She catered my family's thanksgiving. Phenomenal food and the smoked turkey was tooo fire (Still think about it from time to time). Happy to find a fire soul food spot. Will def hit her if I need any catering or soul food needs.

Maybe because it was the day before thanksgiving, but they had nothing available and when the women ask me what else would I like and I picked an option , that was no longer available as well . Even ordered online just to order again in person 45 min

I arrived there around 5pm on a Saturday, it wasn't busy at all. I parked on the side street next to the restaurant. The restaurant doesn't have a dine-in area but, they have a small sit down eating area in the lobby. I ordered the cajun fried salmon, collard greens w/turkey, peas and rice, collard greens egg roll. The food was excellent!❤️ The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I will return and refer to my friends and family.
