“The food at Salute Bistro was outstanding -- my wife loved the brussel sprouts (as did I) and her salmon...I thought the Paolo's salad was delicious as was my seafood and pasta. Service was attentive and efficient. I just wish that there were more patrons on a Saturday night as we don't want to lose this restaurant for Livingston. Perhaps it was just a slow early-summer kind of a night.“

Disappointed that they didn’t have popcorn chicken but substituted for wings. They were amazing .not greasy at all. Very impressed. Will definitely go again. “First timer here and was awesome. Walked in to a clean cozy restaurant plenty of seating. Ordered me some boneless wings with white snow (sweet Parmesan cheese from what I’m told) hot and fresh. Fries were cooked just right. Ordered a refresher bubble tea (green tea strawberry flavoring and strawberry ) ordered some boned wings as well. All cooked to perfection. Service was fast. Very clean as well. DEFINITELY coming back….. almost forgot the beef dumplings… awesome !!!!“

The food took a bit of time to come out. It felt like a while. But when the food fianlly came out I enjoyed all the dishes especially the tenders! The mac was good as well! Had a pretty decent experience all in all!“

I was seriously craving wings, and since we live in Harrison—right next to Newark—my husband suggested we check out Darby’s Wings. Great call. Our order was ready in about 12 minutes, and the wings came out perfectly crispy and incredibly juicy. The sticky wing sauce? Absolutely mouthwatering. One of the staff members (or maybe the owner?) was also super sweet and gave us two different flavors of C&C soda to try. We’ll definitely be back the next time a wing craving strikes!“

You purchase an item on the menu and pin it to the board. When someone comes in who is needy, They just pick a ticket from the board and they can eat. What a novel idea to spread around.“

“Someone told me they had really good fried fish so I had to check it out!! Turns out it really is good! I got a 3 piece whiting with rice and a can of soda it came with bread and coleslaw it was under $12!! amazing deal! My one negative is that I bit into the fish and I had a bunch of bones in my mouth but it wasn't throughout the whole fish. Would definitely return“
