Overall, the Fresh City menu offers a change from the routine cafeteria menu at St. Barnabas. The freshly made salads have plenty of nutritious elements to keep your energy levels high throughout the day. They are open until 2am so if it is past the cafeteria hours, this is the place to go. If you want to try the Stir Fry, be sure to remind the staff to limit the amount of oil they use when frying the vegetables. So convenient when nothing is open at St Barnabas and fresh, real food is required and nothing in the vending machines will do. Quite a variety of options to try. Grateful to have it.

My husband and I were starving after our ultrasound scan, so we figured we would try the food here before heading home. I just say, it was surprisingly decent. We both ordered a steak burrito bowl, and we were both shocked at how delicious they were. The portions were huge, which isn't usually the case for hospital foods. Very well seasoned and flavorful. Overall, I'm excited that we'll be giving birth at SBMC in December and the decent food is a little added bonus.
