My girlfriend and I drove a half hour to come here for their brunch experience as we heard it was one of the best. We were told prior, to be there before 3 , we entered the doors at 2:54 exactly . As soon as we walked inside we were approached by a very unpleasant woman who didn’t think she needed to say hello or anything , she then grabbed the menus And completely turned her back on us . We were finally seated , And we were about to order , It was a minute past 3 o’clock and we were declined our brunch order of chicken and waffles. I tried to say to the waiter- can you still honor the brunch order being that it’s only a minute later And received the same cold shoulder approach as when we entered the restaurant . I wouldn’t Give them any stars if it was possible the customer service was beyond horrible as was the atmosphere.

Parking: Available Free and enough parking spots
Hours of operations: They have particular hours of operation
1. Brunch : Morning until 3PM
2. Lunch: Morning until 4 PM
3. Dinner: 4 PM -8PM
Online Delivery: Yes, I saw some folks picking up orders and they have also put DoorDash logos on the entrance.
Affordability: Affordable but as compared to other cafes you might want to double check prices as it seems to be a little costlier but “NOT SIGNIFICANTLY EXPENSIVE”.
Menu: It is specific to the times. Please note Eggs are not served post Brunch timings!!
Chicken burger was really tasty as well.
Burger Quantity is enough for 1 person.
Our service was also on time and everyone was courteous and they kept checking on us.
Overall a very nice place to have peaceful meal and even on Saturday Sunday they are open whole day.

Our waiter was super nice and even interacted with our one year old by showing him the model planes on the wall. The food was very tasty and there were plenty of options for vegeterians.

It's been slipping in the last few years. Portions are smaller and the fries were not crispy tonight. Nachos were soft and lacked flavor.

Food was delicious the sides were especially good, ceaser salad and pesto pasta salad. I do feel that the kids menu is very overpriced. I could buy a full size meal at a sandwich shop at those prices. Pancakes and chicken fingers need to be more reasonable. Or at least give my child two pancakes!

I have been here three or four times for brunch and each time, the food has been delicious. The service is top tier with consistent check-ins and super polite staff. It can get busy and a bit noisy, but that’s expected when there’s good food and service!

No joke- my boyfriend and I drive over an HOUR from Monroe township once in a while specifically for this restaurant. THATS how good the pancakes and burgers here are . Special shoutout to Chris- the best server in the joint . Super attentive and patient !
Great food, awesome selection, got the veggie delight burger and it was fantastic. 100/10

Was excited to try this cafe in town because of good reviews and gluten free friendliness. As I have a gluten and dairy allergy, I ordered an egg scramble with GF bread. The item said it had potatoes in the eggs and didn’t specify what kind, so I ordered it, telling the server I had a gluten allergy verbatim, twice. I also happened to notice that the menu said, separately, that the restaurant’s home fries are made in the same fryer as gluten and therefore have cross contamination. The food came and there were home fries in my eggs, despite my having specified the allergy. I asked about it, and the server agreed that it should be sent back to the kitchen. The kitchen remade my order and they did the right thing by not charging me for the meal. Please consider it a warning if you have a gluten intolerance or severe allergy. I never got to speak with the management about it. I just feel that for a menu that is marked GF in so many places there should be more attention to the matter.
We had a nice lunch at Basil’s, and what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The manager, Michele, went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Her warm, attentive, and genuinely courteous approach left a lasting impression on us. It’s rare to encounter someone who cares that deeply about hospitality, Thank you, Michele, for your kindness and professionalism!
