Nana's is my go to place for sandwiches, back yard parties, and I hade my 78th birthday party in the new beautiful room. Jason and his staff did an outstanding job. The room is beautiful. The food was (of course) delicious, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. Needless to say I LOVE NANA'S

Just tried the tuna at Jersey City Location (I NEVER order tuna but the free sample was amazing) - best tuna I’ve ever had and I ordered one to bring home for my husband!!! Nice addition to the building!!!

I don’t like their son

When I was growing up my grandparents used to get me sloppy joes here (I used to think my grandmother owned the deli because we called her Nana).

I got married in Brooklyn this weekend and knew from the beginning that we simply had to have it catered with NJ sloppy joes to introduce all the guests to our culture (and truly these sandwiches are our culture).

We called all the delis that are famous for their sloppy joes and got the runaround when we asked if they could deliver to the city. Jason at Nana’s Deli said “no problem” and personally drove 15 sloppy joe platters to Brooklyn himself. The staff at the venue commented on how especially courteous the delivery was.

The price was right and the service was exceptional. The platters looked beautiful and came with kale for decoration and a nice big tray of pickles. My sister the vegetarian said she enjoyed at least five pickles over the course of the evening.

100+ guests got fed, everyone loved the food and I am eating the leftovers right now. We couldn’t be more thankful to Jason and team for making our celebration something truly special. My Nana and grandpa aren’t around anymore but I know they would get a kick out of our catering choice. I’m overjoyed that a ton of guests from all over the world got their first taste of a perfect sandwich that represents where we came from.

I was very disappointed. Pastrami tasted ok but the sandwich was small and only half of it actually had mustard on it. The chopped liver was bland & watery as if it had been frozen after being made. The cole slaw too was bland and watery. I'm not a big fan of Eppes Essen up the road but they are definitely better

Came in looking for matzo but unfortunately they don’t sell the packs. Instead, they gave be the prices I needed and saved me trips looking for it! Said it was on the house :) thanks so much!!! Place is top class!

I’m sorry, but they’re charging the same prices as Katz’s delicatessen in NYC, for a significantly smaller sandwich, AND you’ve gotta wait about an hour to get it for some reason. There’s a lot more about the sandwich that I could get into, but I won’t simply because the price, the wait time, and the size of the sandwich is MORE than enough of a reason to AVOID this place. Sorry.

They got meat
