“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable. The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor. The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits. The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent. The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“

“a hidden gem where the slices are generous and the prices fair, ranging from $3.50 to $5.50. The Eggplant square crunches perfectly at the edges, while the margarita slice bursts with flavor. Friendly service tops off the delightful experience. A must-visit for pizza lovers!“

“- If your looking for one of the best burgers you ever had, or just something to stand out from the onslaught of restaurants in Times Square area, Dark Side Of The Moon is the place to visit. Not only is it one the best names in restaurant history, it is one of the best burgers I've had nationwide. What really stood out was their choice of exotic meats. You can choose from alligator sausage, kangaroo, bison, elk, camel and yak burgers and they even have wild boar tacos. The yak burger stood up to their claim that it is the best meat they offer. Never have I had such a flavorful burger. Who knew yak would be so delicious. The owner was not only the host but also the server and worked hard to make the experience memorable. It's always a pleasure to see an owner who cares enough to work the trenches to assure his diners leave happy and satisfied. Will definitely return as there is a plethora of menu options still to try. If you have a chance to stop by and try their burgers I suggest you do just that.“

“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“It’s Halal & In Time Square. What else? If that wasn’t a good enough reason for you. Then when you read this review know I’m eating one of their burgers right now. As I munch on the deliciousness. I am visualizing the next time I’m going there again. Yea. Burgermania slaps and it’s here baby!“

“First time here and the spot is nice. It’s jazzy and dark, but intimate. We got the soy garlic wings, the cheese corn and the fries. I didn’t get much since I wasn’t so hungry. I was highly disappointed in the wings. Yes it was crispy but it wasn’t tasty. It wasn’t well seasoned. The fries were decent. The cheese corn taste like the corn came out of a can. Sigh. Don’t like that taste. I’ll give it another shot and try the other stuff in the menu.“

“Stopped by last week for the first time to check it out since I like to try out new spots all the time. As soon as we walked in the staff gave a friendly greeting and the food came out super fresh and crispy. The tenders were juicey with a nice flavor and the carrot cake was way better than expected. Will definitely stop by definitely stop by again in the near future.“

“Came to this place not knowing what to expect but saw lots of great reviews and I can absolutely say it lived up to its ratings. Me and the fam got to try the tenders(hugee), ribs, rotisserie chicken, burgers, general tsos and chopped cheese sandwich and OH MY was it DELICIOUS. The people here were also very friendly and accommodating, they also had good music playing in the background. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in or out of town. I will be coming back for more as it seems they updated their menu with some great new stuff that I can't wait to try. Small but tasty restaurant!Vegetarian options: Veggie Panini, Veggie Wrap, Veggie Burrito and Veggie BurgerKid-friendliness: Very Friendly and have kid options.“

“I normally write reviews for the readers, but today, this review is directed to the owner. Your fried chicken is worth the trouble of finding parking. I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Thank you for offering to provide me my order as it became available for the members of my family vs. waiting for all of it to finish, that was very considerate of you and unexpected. I saw how polite you were to everyone that entered to order and for pick-up. We waited a little less than 25 minutes for the order to be complete and considering the size of our order, that was impressively fast! I just want to add that I also noticed you sacrificed your kitchen space to provide extra room for your guest, hats off to you sir! The seating space at the entrance is ample, the decor is trendy, the food was amazing, your attitude was great and even the bathroom was clean. The next time I come, I'm shooting a video for you, you deserve it...plus, I need an excuse to come back.“

“Our family's favorite korean chicken place to order from!! Try the cheesling flavor as I have not seen this available in other korean chicken places and it is finger lickin good. You will never experience this flavor in any regular American chicken places. Also the classic soy garlic flavor is savory and sweet. We can never decide which flavor to order so we go with a whole chicken half and half.Their portion is generous and their seasoning is just right. Friendly service and easy ordering.“

“The food was was great! I am so happy to have such a great spot in the neighborhood for delicious Korean fried chicken! We had the lunch special and the portion of chicken was great! Definitely more of a take-out style place but the dine-in area was comfortable and clean. 10/10 will eat here again!“

“I came here after claiming my free bubble tea from one of Yelp's events since I was in the area. I visited the LIC Lunar New Year events website and saw that this spot had a sampler special. I took a chance on it. After disputing with staff and management that the deal on the website ends at the end of the month, they had adjusted their online menus to provide the sampler option to order. I did get the sampler without having to spend extra. Portions were generous and fresh. I ate half and took the other half home for the family. The ambiance was designed for locals living in the area, not so much for outsiders like me. I saw that Kuku has other locations, so I may check those out.“

“Coqodaq, founded by the masterminds behind Cote, presents a tantalizing twist on fried chicken in the heart of NYC. From the moment you step inside, the sleek ambiance and aroma of sizzling chicken promise a memorable dining experience. I recently visited with friends and savored their renowned chicken. However, while the food exceeded expectations, some diners have noted occasional inconsistencies in portion sizes and wait times during peak hours. Nonetheless, Coqodaq stands as a beacon for fried chicken aficionados, offering a delightful fusion of flavors and a chic atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more“

“The steak burrito was the perfect mix of spicy, not too much rice, not too much cheese, and flavorful steak. The spicy noodle bowl is just that. On another level of spice! A tad much. The Thai curry wings were pretty flavorful but a little oily. Def want to try a few more things on the menu but now I know that when it says spicy, they mean business.“

“I'm almost scared to post this because then even more people will know about how amazing this spot is. Korean hotdogs are all the rage right now and this is the best place that I have found for them. My favorite is the rice dog with just mozzarella. I tried their chicken bites too, which are battered and cooked perfectly. They have a variety of sauces, all of which are unique and delicious. They have some very unique drinks too which are definitely on the very sweet side, something I love. Service couldn't be more friendly, a family owned joint with clean tables, relaxing music, and a nice ambience. They only have three or four tables, most of which are usually taken up by people waiting for takeout, but I don't think it would be uncomfortable to dine in. Highly recommended.“

“We moved from Fort Lee to Carlstadt area a year ago and struggled to find good Korean Fried Chicken nearby. Tried this today and it’s delicious! Family owned and very authentic to me. “While I haven't been here to watch a game, I have been here twice when it wasn't packed, and I had a great time. The service was just as excellent as the wings and the pitcher of lemonade that we had, if you are in a company of more than two, I recommend getting the wings and ask for all the sauces brought separately. It's a good spot if you're meeting with a large group, too. There's plenty of room and tables behind! There's a regular bar section with table seating upfront if you're with a smaller crowd or by yourself.“

“An honest Irish pub that pours a great pint, has lots of young people at night and keeps you occupied with TVs and a huge number of tchotchzkes that remind you this place dates back to the '30's. Oh, the music playing over their system on Friday night was just right for my crowd. If you're looking for a comfortable place to have a drink, this won't disappoint. “Home of arguably the best wings on planet Earth… and this is coming from a wing snob. The wings are consistently a general size, and always incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.“

“When we moved to wood ridge this was the 1st place we ordered from. Have been a customer for the past 4 years now. “Did two recent catering orders. The food was ready on time, hot and delicious. The staff were always friendly and courteous, and each time they went above and beyond. The first time, we didn’t order in advance but they pulled through swiftly and gave us a bonus tray of bread to help feed the masses. The second time (we did order in advance!), the chef himself delivered the food and waited whilst we set it up, chatting convivially with the staff. So impressed! Thank you.“

“We found this place while working in the area and decided to give it a shot. Located on Lock St in Newark. The outside looks inviting with music playing and seating outside. Inside is newly built with plenty of seats and a bar area. The menu is all online as is the ordering. I ordered the Vermont rooster sandwich which comes with fries .. it's a deep fried boneless chicken thigh on a brioche bun with lettuce tomato and pickles with bacon cooked perfectly. My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm. If you're looking for good food cooked with love and you're in the area stop in and I think you'll be glad you did.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level on the parking lot side.“
