New name new owners..best food EVER
The food was ok, but I feel they're trying to hard to make it fancy. Cheese amount very small on pizza, messy, and barely any bread. We were judged the whole the entire time for "not having reservations" too small and would not recommend to eat here with a big party
Really good Margherita Pizza. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
Pizza was not good. Very greasy. Felt bad for manager, one cook didn't show up. Waited almost two hours for dinner. Calamari was good. Other fish was rubbery
The first sign of this hell of a restaurant experience was nobody being there. The environment was almost as uncomfortable and inappropriate on a hot summer's day as the bathroom toilet. They sat our table of fourteen with only one incredibly tall, teenage waiter who served out our drinks one by one. The sizes of the cups were extremely small so once he passed them all out, we already needed refills. When doing so, the waiter would leave our empty cups at the table, leaving clutter and no space on the small table. When ordering, several (and the most crucial things) on the list were all out, including dough for pizza. The restaurant opened one-two hours ago and ran out of multiple dishes? When serving, the one waiter would be gone for an excruciatingly long period to serve the next plates, so once the last ones were served some had already finished. And don't even get me started on the multiple hairs in the pizza, the over cooked chicken, the chicken that smelled and tasted of fish, and the mooshy and soupy pasta dishes. Even two days after this ordeal, one of us got food poisoning. Guess where? Thank you Anthony's, for the horrible food, service, and sanitation.
Ran out of pizza. My goodness......
Overpriced and unimpressive. Let's talk pizza, in this case Margherita.. burnt crust, canned sauce, no sliced tomatoes. Parsley and basil are NOT the same thing and not interchangeable as a pizza topping. I was impressed by one thing, I've never seen burnt mozzarella that takes skill. And how is it your only drink choices can be expensive bottled water or canned Pepsi? No teas, no other soft drinks. The food is certainly not worth the price being charged.
Had two of the chef's specials last evening. Fantastic! Imaginative and properly done.
Love Anthony's! Great Italian food
Small, friendly Italian restaurant. Food was very good and piping hot. We ate on a Sunday night in late September, so no crowd. I can see how people might be frustrated in the high season when the wait is probably very long. We shared the Tuscany Salad and ate a Chicken Marsala & Pasta Carbonnara for dinner...enjoyed everything. Also, open all year which is a plus for us since we now live here fulltime.ðŸ·ðŸ‘
Restaurantji Recommends
Anthony's is a neat place. Very Italian and almost seams out of place in LBI. Staff was friendly and the food was great. I had their Margarita Pizza it was very good.

The food was delicious!!! You must try the riceballs, the best. The food comes out piping hot. The stuffed pork chop is to die for. I definitely was not disappointed in any way.
This was my first time at Anthony's Trattoria in Beach Haven, NJ on Long Beach Island. I was happy to find the service was good and the food was very tasty as I like Italian food. Also, the staff was friendly and prices reasonable for Long Beach Island. I will recommend Anthony's Trattoria to my friends.
Had Saturday night dinner with friends at Anthony's last night. A great dining experience. The ricotta dumplings were awesome, tender fried dough filled with ricotta served with marinara dipping sauce. Penne Rustica main course was even better. People complain about price. With food as good as Anthony's, the price was right. Highly recommend Chef Stephen and his staff at Anthony's.
