This place seems to be the only place on the island with decent empanadas, far better than what you get at LaBamba. I usually do pick up, and then steam some extra vegetables at home for a more balanced meal.FYI as of 2023 their menu has a few slight differences from the one posted here.
This place is truly a hidden gem! We had the QuesaBirria tacos and now I'm ruined for all other tacos. They taco shells were definitely made in house. The birria beef was absolutely delicious and the dipping sauce and salsa it came with was a chef's kiss! I really hope this place catches on because I need to eat these tacos again and again for years to come!

Refreshing to experience actual Latinx food and not just standard Mexican-American fare. Really wonderful use of things like raisin and cinnamon to highlight the natural sweetness in the chiles. That said, I felt like everything was lacking heat and salt--but I attributed that to them catering to the peculiarities of the area. Prices were pretty normal. Serving sizes weren't generous but didn't skimp either--I'd say they were just right for the price.Would definitely try this...read full review
