2nd Floor Restaurant

We had our yearly Christmas dinner. I called ahead and spoke with Michael (Fabulous!) as there are 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian. Sam the Chef prepared vegan apps, entree, and dessert! Everything was delicious! The dessert, a cashew ice cream resembling an upper scale bananas foster. I love the pastry chip with sugar and salt (a nice twist that was like a cherry on top!) Living down the shore is great, except when it comes to fine dining. Burger or wings, no problem. There’s at least a dozen places within a 10 minute drive and they’re all great. The problem is when you want something other than pub food the choices are very limited. We found 2nd Floor completely by accident while looking for places to take our son in law for his birthday. We wanted to try someplace new that we haven't eaten several times before, and i found this place in TA.I called to make a reservation and Michael called back promptly to set it up. It may be a little tricky to find the place, but look for the MIX sign. We had dinner with another couple, and were seated in I think the only booth which was great.
