We took over the restaurant to celebrate the birthdays of two family members. The owner was extremely helpful, the food was outstanding, and we enjoyed the festive and relaxed atmosphere. We hired the belly dancer who made the afternoon lots of fun! She was very talented and got everyone up and dancing! The lamb chops on the menu are a highlight. The food is delicious, plentiful, and very reasonable, especially because its BYO.

Wonderful place - truly a hidden gem. Menu was wonderful and vast - wide range of options to satisfy all appetites. The food was outstanding and very high quality ( therefore prices will be on the upper end and reflective of that quality ) - none the less it was super delicious / good portions Egyptian cuisine catering towards all pallets - vegan / halal / etc. - lovely / cozy ambiance, super clean located in a nice part of town. Across the street is the beach to soak in the sunset. The owner / hostess were so gracious and kind - truly made you feel so comfortable and at home. Just a really great overall experience that would highly recommend and will surely return to.

I came here with a party a few weeks ago and didnt enjoy my visit all too much. Everyone I came with said their food; chicken; chops; lamb; all tasted like they were frozen and came from a plastic bag. Which is fine, but the prices, in my opinion were over priced. $15-30 dollars for something frozen? Meh, not for me. 1 star off.Secondly, while we were there an employee, to which i assume was the boss, started screaming at another employee because she didn't carry 2 plates with her. It was so loud I could hear him above the music, the entire restaurant could hear every word. I was completely upset to think that a grown man would act like that to a women and it ruined my evening. It was completely degrading to her. 2 stars offWould not recommend.

I don’t know if the food is ‘authentic Egyptian’ but the falafel lunch plate I got was very good. The falafel was crispy outside and light inside with good flavor. The hummus was fresh and the chicken shawarma sandwich and fries were tasty and hot. I got a Turkish coffee which was very good. Our waitress was great , and also informative. There were many to-go orders while we were there and they all seemed to be ready at pick-up. I’d definitely recommend and go back. They have a belly dancer on Friday and Saturday nights.

Went to there today for lunch with a friend, just a good day for warm and cozy eats and a good company... It was a quiet afternoon inside the lovely and cozy which I welcomed it and they do have lunch specials list of about 8 or 9 items from Mon to Fri 11 to 3pm.. I choose the kufta, a skewer of mixture of ground beef and lamb with their yellow rice and side salad platter for 10.95.. My friend had the green salad with feta and added chicken pieces.. She had ordered the garlic bread (naan-like) which came very thin and nice with dark garlic spread cooked on.. A bit too oily but good though.. She had enjoyed her salad which good for two person and I had enjoyed mine, good size kufta that I cut in half to save for later dinner.. also ate just half of the rice, and whole side salad.. Friend ordered the baklava for dessert and it was a large one, good for two person.. Some things that I wasn't so thrilled, is to be charged for bottled water for 3.50, which I would prefer tap.. Then, what has turned me off is being charged for hot sauce, in a very small container like half oz size, for 2 bucks which I only need a sprinkle or two, which usually for free at elsewhere as usual.. An Extra buck for the extra tahini sauce which came in a very small container, same as the hot sauce.. Not happy about wasted like 6 dollars which could be for free at other places..

The food was amazing from the appetizers, to the entrees and of course the dessert. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff was friendly and attentive. It was even a nice surprise to have music and entertainment from a belly dancer. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant.

We wanted schwarma and falafel. After another place was a bust we ventured here on a Thursday night. The place was quiet. One other table was finishing up. We took a table outside. Being the only ones there. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Not sure why it took a very odd long time for a schwarma sandwich and a falafel sandwich but it did. I mean we were literally the only people there. The food came out nicely displayed with French fries. Everything was warm. Tasted good. A good value for the sandwiches.

Great food. Friendly staff. Baba ganoush was great and stuffed grape leaves as appetizers. Lamb kebabs and falafel platter were delicious too.

I ate here once and the food was good, overpriced, but good. I went to call in an order for pickup and they 'weren't accepting pickup orders at this time' - 7:30pm on a Friday night. I was told to 'try back in 2 hours.' - 2 hours?!? The woman who answered the phone was quite rude as well. Will not be returning back or giving them my business again. I'd much rather overpay for food where at least the business is welcomed and the front of the house is welcoming.

Decided to take impromptu dinner at this restaurant on a beach outing day and I have to say the food and service was amazing. We choose outdoor sitting so there was a little wait. Waitress was very friendly and enthusiastic to serve. Also it is BYOB. There was a surprise performance by belly dance ‘Sasa’ during dinner. Overall great place if you are in for Mediterranean cuisine.

First off, Michelle the hostess/waitress is really terrific. She makes sure you know what you're getting and it's suitable for your tastes. I had the chicken kabob plate. I wasn't very fond of the rice or salad. I'm spoiled by the halal street trucks that make everything to a ridiculously high standard. But the chicken itself was absolutely on point.
