I could have had an exceptional meal Saturday at Mar Belo. Unfortunately, the waiter ignored my wants, and did not pay attention to my wishes. The appetizer - garlic shrimp - was very good, however when my entree was presented, I was disappointed. Steak fries accompany the meat I had ordered. I requested that the potatoes be very well done. I sent back the dish to correct this. When the dish was returned the potatoes came back exactly the same. The flow of the meal was destroyed...read full review
This restaurant is fabulous! They have fantastic food, scrumptious sangria, and awesome atmosphere, who could ask for anything more? If you are at the beach and on foot don't worry, it's only approximately one mile due west via Broadway! :) This is a great place to celebrate your birthday!
