Well..... I got oysters for my app. It was good. I prefer a red wine minuet. Dinner was scallop and shrimp with Crab Risotto. Scallops were excellent, Shrimp was over cooked and risotto had little to no crab in it. Overall the risotto had great flavor.

I'm not sure why there are less than stellar reviews here. We have eaten in the dining room three times with different numbers in our party (3-8) and have had wonderful experiences each time. The food was delicious and the servers were attentive, knowledgeable, although busy. We have also sat at the bar two other times to watch the game and eat. Again, we were met with great service and impressive food. All this plus a great new happy hour that includes many choices from the menu. The crowd does seem a little like Biff and Buffy from the club, so maybe that is why the reviews sound the way they do?

Swore I'd never return after my first try (see that review) but thought we should give it a second chance. This time, we didn't even bother staying. As we walked in, there was a table in the foyer with broken glass all over it. The first bad sign. To the left was an almost-empty barroom with one lonely bartender and three young girls who looked like heroin addicts sitting at the bar, one of which may have even worked there. The dining room was brightly lit and every table was empty. This was around 6 or 6:30 on a Sunday, mind you. Not after hours or even before they were open. As we entered the bar area, there was an odd scent drifting through the room, too. Everything just screamed, "get out now, while you still can." So we did. Won't return for real this time.

This was about the worse meal I have ever had at the shore, boardwalk food is better!!! We sat down and no one waited on us for 15 minutes we had to call a waitress over. The bread they gave was stale our drinks never came until we asked for them and the items we ordered we found out 20 minutes later they were all out of. My husband and my friends husband got their meals and me and my friend sat waiting for ourfood. My husband was finished his food when ours came out and it was absolutely horrible the sauce on the macaroni was the worse we ever had. Every time they came out with our food it was not right !!! My husband and our friend never got their drinks until after they were done eating and they never even refilled our water glasses . DO NOT EAT there!!!!! The table next to us also has issues with there meals the kitchen must be a disaster and the chef should be fired, we felt bad for our waitress and she kept apologizing. On top of that when we ask for the manager he was not there!!!! We suggested this place to our friends and we were embarrassed by the entire evening!!! The waitress did give us a discount off the bill but I’d u ask me it should of been free as I came home hungry!!! The dining room was nice and overlooked the marina but I would never go back there I would rather eat at McDonalds then go back there .

My husband and I dined here last night. Terrible experience. I could not eat the scallops or the shrimp--rubbery consistency. We were not asked how are meals were. The server was confused when we asked for bottled, still water so we let it go and drank tap. The temperature of the red wine was about 150 degrees--so warm, it was like soup. Not sure where they are storing it, but certainly not at proper temperature. They should look into a wine fridge! Had to ask for ice cubes to cool it down, but that only ruined the taste of the best cabernet at $18 a glass. Table beside us had same issue. Also occurred during a previous visit. The server made no apologies or offered any solutions. Our table was positioned in a very bad spot, too close to bar. Servers were bumping into my chair. The air conditioning must have been broken because it was sweltering in there. Window was open but it was a 90 degree day! The music was an annoying, heart-pumping base. It was lowered after we requested, but the noise level in the room was so loud, it left people screaming at one another to be heard. After $170, for 1 app, 2 meals, 2 glasses of wine and a non-pleasurable experience it's needless to say, we won't be back. The table next to us said the same thing.

When La Barca first opened I was excited that Bistro di Marino was going to be represented in my backyard. Well it's nothing like the great Collingswood location. This place is the most unorganized, chaotic, poorly managed restaurant in the area. Just went tonight giving them one last chance. Last year they brought me the wrong entree 3 times in a row. You can't make this up. Tonight we went with two friends and my wife. My wife and I got there before our friends and grabbed 4 seats. The seats had eaten food on the bar in front of us. We waited 15 minutes to have it taken away. Had to stack the dirty dishes ourselves and plead w someone to take them. When he did I had to tell him the whole counter needed to be wiped down. We waited another 15 minutes to order a drink. No silver ware. They ran out of dinner napkins so gave us cocktail napkins. They gave my friend a dirty wine glass. Bartender brought over the wrong bottle of wine. Came back with the right one but no wine glasses. The bottle sat on the bar for 5 mins. Another guy came over w 3 wine glasses and said we are looking for a 4th. Just to order food was a nightmare. The couple next to us never got their dinner. They waited 20 mins for a drink. The bartender made the wife's drink and forgot to make the husbands drink. He had to ask two times for it. Finally he gave up and ordered a beer. They asked for bread 4 times and never got any. I mean this place is just awful. It's a shame because I love their restaurant in Collingswood. I can't go into every aspect of this horrific evening but I'm done. Good luck. Won't be back until I hear the place is finally run efficiently. You'll get better service in a diner.

Beautiful view but service could be better. The starters and cocktails were okay, main course should be better for the price that they offer. Pasta over cooked, we were waiting for drinks 20mins for food about hour. Restaurant wasn't busy at all 2/4 were occupied.Parking: Parking doesn't have lines ( sand and rocks)

The menu promises a lot and gives nothing. Prices are ridiculous for the quality. Did not enjoy my meal and don't recommend it to anyone. I ordered a pasta dish, what came out to me was 5 noodles floating in a cheese soup. Felt sick after.

Food is overpriced and not worth it. I got the lobster mac and cheese that was supposed to include lobster meat, shrimp, bacon, etc. and there's only the tiniest bit of lobster meat and nothing else. The service isn't good either and the food and prices are just ridiculous. I don't recommend anyone going there.

Pretty mediocre all around, bland food, slow service, and disgusting atmosphere. Had to ask several times for a steak knife, and when it finally came out, it was dirty. Water drips from the air vents over the bay windows, which we only noticed after some water dripped onto my father! Flies everywhere, this place is truly pathetic for the prices they charge. You will be lucky to leave this place without getting sick.

Food is good. Service is good. View is nice. Place is very lively and loud. Can be too loud to hear your dinner partners.
