Stopped by when it was quiet to grab some food and beer. Bartender was chill and friendly. He greeted everyone, and recommended an amazing beer for me: dino bits ipa. Got the house burger and it was nicely smashed and hot. Love the wood decor. Tried coming back but it's always pretty packed.

Been there twice. Once with my sisters for lunch and then went back a few days later with my husband for lunch. White Line cocktail is fabulous! Turkey Club w/ FF and Shaved Prime Rib are both great items in the menu. I didn’t order it but saw a mountain high Nacho player come out to the table next to us. We were in town for my nieces theatre production at FDU. Quaint little town. Street parking but no meters.

After 2-3 years of anticipation to go to the Laundry Room. I was Extremely disappointed with the lack of care and service rendered here. This is a unique place, great place to entertain, the ambiounce is great but unfortunately staff at the main room had this I don't care what you think attitude. I took guest from Colorado to pleasantly surprised them and the surprise was on me. 10 minutes there just about 6:30pm on a non busy Saturday night and Not once did staff approach us to see if we needed help. They had live music that didn't start till 8-9pm and when I went to the bartenders seeking a menu, they were thoroughly surprised Afterwards, not once did anyone attempted to assist us After spending 15 minutes waiting we decided to move on.

The food was alright. Their menu, in my opinion, is very bland. We were waiting for quite some time even though the restaurant was not that busy. The restaurant is nice, though.

AVOID THIS PLACE. The Hispanic manager is very rude I believe his name is jacey or something. He made my experience horrible for me and my family when we came to enjoy ourselves. We spent over $200 and the experience wasn’t worth it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. That manager should take some customer service training because people spend money here and deserve better service. He was even heard talking to another worker talking negatively about another colleague. We as patrons shouldn’t know what happens behind business doors and him and that female colleague was talking about other workers and they looked extremely close like they could be family or partners or something. It looks very bad for business.

Beef tacos were mediocre. Should have known. My bad.
Went last month in July.. walked in with my wife and ordered a burger and a beer. Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and watched 3 cockroaches crawl all around me on the walls by the sink and urinals. It was absolutely disgusting I went to the table and told the manager who brushed me off by saying he doesn’t have roaches. Obviously you do. I have the video and pictures of them. So my wife and I got up and left. NEVER going here again. HUGE health hazard. DISGUSTING

So I am re writing my review after many years. I actually stopped going to 54 Main bc the drinks and the food were so bad...literally undrinkable and inedible. I went back to meet some friends and WOW! The place looks beautiful! New place settings, cleaner and the drinks were amazing!! Now it's back to being our meeting spot with friends and family!
Not sure who is responsible for this change, but thank you for bringing it back!

Food is pretty good, I mainly go here for the bar. It’s a nice square bar with plenty of seating. Great place to meet up for drinks or watch a game due to the spacious bar area. It’s the most spacious bar in the whole town of Madison. I’ve been going here occasionally for the past 8 years.

Greek salad - not Greek nor a salad. $15 for a dessert plate half full of mostly diced cucumbers, 3, yes 3, cherry tomatoes, no onions, tiny feta crumbles, and 'Kalamata' olives from a can. Oil and vinegar AWOL. When I asked to add anchovies they looked at me like I asked for larks' tongues and , of course, unavailable. Stick to burgers and take 'Greek salad' off the menu. In Greece they'd burn the place down.

Went in the restaurant with my girlfriend for a date night. The staff was outstanding, no less than 5 minutes to get seated with amazing service. Waiters helped me with all my food options and recommended me their favorite food items. The food tasted excellent, no mixups at all! The general manager came up to us and made us feel very welcome! I will be coming back soon!
