Prime No. 7 x Ugly Chicken

I really like this place!!! They don't have sushi or Ugly chicken anymore but All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ was on point. Portions were big and my kids loved here as well.

Place fell off big time. No more sushi, no more chicken. Just low grade meats. Older lady completely rude and no sense of urgency. No more lunch specials. Shame what happened to a good potential restaurant.

I previously dined here with my friends a few years ago, and had a great experience. We were excited to come back to celebrate my friend’s birthday tonight, but sadly discovered they were closed once we got there. There was only a sign posted on the door apologizing for the inconvenience, but the hours on Google claimed they were open until 9:30, and nothing on the voicemail indicated their closure today. Very disappointed by this lack of consideration.

Honestly maybe Korean BBQ just isn’t my thing but this experience was definitely a one and done for me.
The marinated hanging steak was by far my favorite cut, and the food came out quick. The one thing that I was disappointed by was the fact that the waitstaff didn’t know much about the food or menu. It was my first time here and I ordered the beef brisket, spicy bulgogi, and hanging steak, so I asked the waiter which one was which and he didn’t know.
They also put some condiments and pickled items down as soon as we sat down but didn’t care to explain what they’d brought to the table or how it was meant to be used.
Maybe I should’ve done some research on TikTok or YouTube but when you have waiters their entire job is to know this information. Also the waiters aren’t really the ones bringing out the food it’s usually the kitchen staff; All the waiters do is take the AYCE form to and from the register.
And that gets me to my other point about there being an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill. I paid $40 per person for the AYCE Beef and we were two people total and our bill came out to $110. Tbh why am I paying a gratuity when I’m cooking my own food and the waiter has no idea what’s going on.

Food wasn’t too bad 6/10. Service was terrible, did not get my order right even after I repeated it. We were told to put our outside food away because we were eating while waiting for our food to come. Absolutely ridiculous when we ordered so much food for 3 people and still being told to put our outside food away.

My first Korean BBQ experience! And it was amazing! Staff is so friendly- explained everything. Food is amazing! If you want halal, you are seated in a complete different section than non-halal. Apparently Ramen is also included with your AYCE but I didn't have enough space to eat it!

Make sure to ask for drink prices first. Got a 12 oz bottle of Jinro. it normally runs 6 to 7 dollars a bottle other places but they charged me $16.95 for 1. Food was ok just could not believe how much that drink was. They need to have a alcoholic drink menu. My bad for not asking so just dont make the same mistake.

Not worth your visit. You will be charged a mandatory 20%tips + 3.5% credit card fee for a party of 4+. Food is not authentic. Portion is small for what they charged. Plenty of better choice in Bergen.

Had a terrible experience they don’t understand anything we told them for double item and whatever we choose there are stuff missing they didn’t change the grill plate we told them 3 times they they are item missing from the order we did they said ok but never brought the stuff never coming here again wasted $300 for no reason not worth it

I dined at Prime No. 7 today and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and our server Joel was friendly and welcoming. Since it was our first time, he took the time to explain everything clearly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a nice visit and will definitely be coming back.
