Was craving some chicken wings and found this local joint in Mawah. Good value for the money and the checkin tasted good. I ordered 911 sauce and was not very spicy at all. I was looking for a stronger kick but did not achieve with the 911 sauce. Overall, I recommend this place if you want wings!

My household have been very happy customers for over 10 years. The wings, tenders, and ribs are unmatched.I ordered a burger for the first time and became VIOLENTLY sick within an hour that continued for hours. When I called the store, the manager did not offer me so much as an apology. Rather saying he didn't know how that could happen and would get back to me which he did not. Horrible service for a long time customer and no concern for my health at their hands.

Take out food, fried chicken good, consistent quality. Sweet potato fries & Mozzarella sticks are good. We like their chicken tenders. Not a sit down eatery. Does carryout and delivery. Friendly staff.

Chicken and Rib Crib in Mahwah, NJ, is the definition of a local treasure. My experience here was overwhelmingly positive, and I left feeling extremely satisfied and already planning my next trip. In fact, it would have been absolutely flawless if not for one small, subjective thing—but more on that in a moment.
The service alone sets this place apart. A huge shout-out to Kelly behind the counter, who was genuinely amazing. She was incredibly patient, took the time to explain various menu items, and was more than accommodating when I changed my order mid-transaction. That level of hospitality is rare and immediately makes you feel welcome.
Now, for the food. The chicken was hot, fresh, and undeniably delicious, delivering a perfectly cooked, satisfying bite. My only, only critique is that the seasoning was just a little too salty for my specific taste. I fully recognize this is likely a preference thing, and many others may find it perfectly seasoned, but it was the only issue I had. Thankfully, everything else was perfect: the fries were beautifully crispy and seasoned well, and the dinner roll was surprisingly soft—not one of those old, hard rolls you sometimes get at other chicken joints. The quality here is top-notch.
Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. The combination of stellar service and high-quality, fresh food makes Chicken and Rib Crib a standout. I only wish they had more locations! But at least I know exactly where I'm heading the next time I find myself in Mahwah, NJ.

Hole in the wall place with amazing food!!!!!! It's worth the trip, and don't be fooled by the store front!!!!!!!

It's not a sit down restaurant. It's strictly takeout.
I've never complained about the food.

Love the fried chicken here ,not expensive only problem is parking hard to see when backing out.
