We go strictly for the Hibachi. They start you with soup and salad. Fried rice, Lo mein, fresh grilled veggies, and your meat/chicken/seafood choice. My choice is the Filet and Scallops. It's never disappointed. My wife gets the Gluten-free meal which is plentiful and I'm sure equally good.
SERVICE
The server on Friday was ehhh... going through the motions. Generally they're pretty pleasant and at least efficient. While they do the legwork, the chef is the one doing the meal... which takes us to --->
ATMOSPHERE
Our Hibachi chef was Ocean this time. Yep, pronounced like it's spelled! He was great. There were kids at the table and he was sure to give them special attention.
Don't wanna spoil the entertainment, but Ocean made the experience a lot of fun. Don't forget the saki shots!
COST
Very reasonable for Hibachi. It's BYOB which helps with the expense. Tipping is always tricky! Chef v server... hmmm.

“I celebrated my birthday with my sisters at The Gables last night. It is clear that this restaurant knows that a dining experience is more than just about the great food. The ambiance and charm of the restaurant with its meticulous attention to detail translates to understated elegance. Their staff—my experience felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and they had nothing else to do but take care of us! Our server, Cathy, was so warm and unshakable on a rather busy evening. The room managers strolled throughout the room making sure that every person was seen and noticed. It’s the nicest place I’ve ever dined. Thank you for a truly lovely evening!“

“Went for dinner. Food was very good. Pretty quick service. Out of season. Was a bit cold inside even though it was in the 60s outside and the front door was opened. The acoustics are bad. Kids screeching resonate through your ears and down your spine.

“Kept driving by this place and finally got to try it out last week. As a Chicago native, I can tell you this is what I've been looking for the past 3 years of living here. The crust does not explode in your mouth like a bunch of tiny little splinters, it's softer and doughy. The ingredients and cheese are not skimped out on either, they are fresh ingredients and plentiful at that. The only thing I would change is more sauce, but I can do that myself next order on my own. Leftovers microwaved is a no go but air fried it's just like it came out of the oven all over again. In a Jersey full of Luigi's, pick Marios, you won't be disappointed. I suggest adding the wings into your order as well, best take out wings I've had from a pizza shop, super crispy breading and juicy interior.“

“We went to the chegg many years ago, a few times, and we weren't really impressed. However, just recently we went to the chegg out in marlton and we had such a great meal that we decided to give the one on the island another shot. So glad we did. “I have been going to Marchioni’s for years! Actually the first restaurant I fell in love with from moving from California way back in the day. The chicken Marsala was always my go to favorite and now it’s my sons! My husband loves the homemade stuffed shells and now I’m in love with the salmon piccata and the pizza is always perfect! Yum, now I am thinking about it that’s going to be dinner tonight! The owners are amazing and so is the staff, one thing that stands out is the customer service, I recently came to pick up my order and the driver noticed I forgot my bag with salads and brought it to my house without me prompting it ( didn’t even know it was missing yet- and then it hit me to leave this long way overdue review) He made it to my house before I did! Brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday’s offers $10 mimosa or bloody Mary’s for the first one then they’re $2 after the first one. Brunch is from 11am to 230pm.“
