Love Wegmans! They have fresh produce, meats, seafood, and baked goods! Not only are they fresh, but they have a good variety! Yesterday I dropped by to purchase some items for cheese fondue and was able to find everything I needed. The cheese selection is staggering and I did need some assistance but I found a staff member willing to help and very pleasant! Once the gold standard of grocers, this celebrated chain seems to have fallen off a cliff. Wegmans made a decision years ago to leverage their enviable brand name and dramatically expand their private label offerings while limiting the number of national brands available. Love this supermarket but 2 days ago we bought tomato focaccia and found a long black hair in it, like I had to pull it out,it was baked with the bread,inside the bread. Disgusting.... will never buy anything cooked/preped there again !
