A quintessential dive. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch after hearing their hot wings are highly-regarded.

Bartender was very friendly, recommending a great IPA on tap. I ordered the hot wings and a side of fried pickles, both came out fresh and the staff were great.

I’d absolutely come back again, and recommend Jay’s to those looking for a cozy, no frills dive bar.

Been here multiple times and the food is always solid — the wings and chili are standouts. Great chill dive bar vibes, and the bartenders keep that same laid-back energy. A reliable go-to spot.

fun dive bar with good dive bar energy you'd expect from a place like this. they make good drinks and have rotating craft taps. and they have maine brewing company lunch! always a plus. their food is pretty good too. nothing fancy. just quality bar food staples done right.
