I consider myself a food connoisseur. I live out of town but have family close by. This was my 3rd visit to the restaurant. M ty last visit prior to tonight was over a year ago. In that time, I hadn't had a better meal than the one I had last year. Sure it was expensive but the execution in the kitchen was off the charts. Fast forward to tonight. Bistro d'Azur is a small gem of a restaurant. It is a little oasis of charm, ambience (decor, music, comfortable seating, privacy), excellent service and consistently wonderful food. We particularly love their 5 or 7 course tasting menus! Why travel to Manhattan for quality dining when you can have this in practically your own back yard? Shout out to Isabella, hostess par excellence!
I don’t often give 5 star reviews but Bistro d’Azur has become a special place for us. We have been there at least 6 times and the food and service has been consistently excellent. The place is nice without being stuffy and we have gone for “let’s have a nice dinner today” , big birthday celebrations and everything in between.
