La Famiglia Ristorante, Pizzeria & Catering Maplewood

My wife and I stopped in traveling to the area from Florida. Open the door into a very nice entryway that smelled so clean, impressive. We were greeted and seated immediately. At 2pm we were the only patrons. Very classy atmosphere. Beautiful tile floor and walls. Nice music playing, again classy. We needed something simple so we ordered the Hawaiian pizza. It was the best, honestly we just loved it. As good as can be. Restroom was spotless and this is important. I introduced myself to Nick and complimented him. He deserved that.

We live only a mile or so from this place and this is our first time coming. We will definitely be back. I am Italian and really fussy about my Italian food. This place absolutely met and exceeded our expectations. We had the artichoke hearts oreganato appetizer, chicken parm, cavetelli ricotta and carrot cake. Everything was aces include our server Victoria. Quaint atmosphere, great background music (lots of Sinatra).
Even the bread was great.

There was a barrier put up to a nice dining area and the restrooms of the establishment. I felt the barrier did not make the restaurant inviting, although it was private. What I wanted on the menu wasn’t available after I had placed the order and I was informed that the meal would take some time to come out. This did not make a good impression above all else. The pizza was slightly above average in terms of a score.

Awesome place

Catered meal ready at pick up

I was there last weekend with my wife and two other couples. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. First it looked like your typical pizza joint, but they had a separate section as a dining room. The food, the service and the atmosphere- they had a gentlemen playing a keyboard/ piano - were excellent.
We were all very pleased with our experience. Oh right, the deserts were also amazing.
I highly recommend it 👍

La Famiglia always has excellent food, from apps to pizza to pasta to entrees. The grandma vodka pizza is my favorite. I also just ordered from there for a party and they delivered right on time.

My brother and I took our grandparents here for a lunch date today. It was so clean and cute inside. Our waitress (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) was absolutely phenomenal! I think she was running both the dine-in area and the take-out counter alone, but she was still incredibly attentive! We did not feel rushed or ignored at all!

The food was incredible. I got the spinach ravioli and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best I’ve ever had! The spinach and cheese filling was creamy and the ravioli dough was perfectly al dente. The vodka sauce was to die for. My brother and grandparents also kept complimenting how good the food was throughout their meal!

Outstanding service and amazing food. I wish I lived closer. This restaurant is such a gem!

Pizza Perfection! Bunch of firsts for me, first time trying LaFamiglia and first time trying vodka sauce. It didn't disappoint either, may have been best slice of pizza I have ever had. Great service and people there too, I appreciate the conversation Nick!
