Nothing goes better with Sunday morning coffee than Palmer's homemade donuts.

The Palmer’s have created a beautiful and calming space in the heart of Maplewood Village. Offering classic bakery treats, our favorites are the banana bread, scones, biscuits, whoopie pies, and oatmeal sandwich cookies. Don’t miss a chance to visit and try their fantastic baked goods.

Friendly service, interesting savoury options, but do not miss the donut dough cake with caramel sauce, served warm. Such a bliss!

Discovered this gem During the Street fair yesterday, I ordered the cheddar cheese biscuit, chocolate chip scone, and a stuffed spinach pastry. All of it was delicious. How lucky the folks are in Maplewood to have such a lovely bakery. I will definitely visit again and next time I will order a boat load of those cheddar biscuits and freeze to save a trip.

I visited the bake house 2/19/25 it was recommended to me. I was in the area I purchased a few items. I wasn't please with the hand held pie for me it lacked moisture and flavored the corn muffin was also a little dry. The young sales girl was very friendly and pleasant.

Tried to go here a couple times, the food was disappointing for the price. Cookies and muffins were dry. Owner is always yelling at staff. Bad vibes.

I visited this establishment today after receiving a recommendation to try it. I ordered a hot coffee and a sweet treat, but upon reaching the coffee station, I noticed there was no milk available. I requested a refill, and instead of simply refilling the milk, the owner decided to pour it directly into my already full cup. With my hands full, I struggled to secure the lid in time,
and hot coffee spilled onto my hands.

A customer in line saw what happened and showed more concern for me than the owner did. I immediately moved out the way to dry my hands and she continued to ring up the next customer, offering no acknowledgment for
the incident. She didn’t inquire whether I was okay, nor did she offer to replace my coffee.

I returned to my car, but the pain in my fingers soon intensified. My husband saw me and told me to go back inside and get some ice, as we were a distance from home. When I returned and asked for ice to alleviate the burn, there was no sign of empathy or acknowledgment from the owner.

Given the lack of care and attention I won’t be returning, nor will I be recommending this place to others.

I just picked up my favorite corn muffins from Palmer's. I was using a digital gift card given to me by my staff for my bday (I know TMI lol]. Ethan showed exemplary customer service. He was friendly, made eye contact, and figured out how to use the gift card quickly. It's so important to have employees who are friendly and warm. Great hire Palmer's.

Got a chance to try it today and had the Rice Krispies Treat and Confetti Cookie. Great service, packaging, and taste! Will definitely be coming back again sometime.

First time experience and I would not come back. Very annoyed as I purchased two scones and a muffin - they were not cheap - and when I got home I realized the scones were totally inedible as they were stale and rock hard. It’s not unacceptable to pawn days old food off on customers pretending it’s fresh. I was really annoyed when I got home and realized. But it was too late to go back as I had made a special tripl to try out the bakery and don’t live close by. The corn muffin was just ok. Nothing special. The service was terrible. The lady was rude to me and in hindsight I should have left before even purchasing given the feeling that I was bothering the staff and given the bakery was completely empty. I couldn’t recommend.

Amazing muffins (yes).

We've been coming to this location every Sunday for the past two years, but unfortunately, the service is consistently poor. The staff never greets customers—we've never received a hello, how are you, or goodbye. In 2024, I will no longer support businesses where I don't feel welcome.
