Discovered this gem During the Street fair yesterday, I ordered the cheddar cheese biscuit, chocolate chip scone, and a stuffed spinach pastry. All of it was delicious. How lucky the folks are in Maplewood to have such a lovely bakery. I will definitely visit again and next time I will order a boat load of those cheddar biscuits and freeze to save a trip.

I have never tasted a cake as good as the one I ordered for my wife’s birthday. It was a simple combination of yellow cake with chocolate frosting, nothing overly sophisticated, yet it was truly the best cake I’ve ever had. The addition of small edible pearls was a perfect touch. They were like little bursts of flavor.
