Food, Staff, Service is always on point here. My family and I have come quite a few times over the past few months, and it always feels like I’m getting a chef-like experience each visit.

We love Porta Rossa - without question the best pasta and sandwiches in town (and surrounding towns too tbh). Love that there's some seating now too and it's become my go-to spot to meet a friend for lunch and then bring home some supplies for dinner.

The pasta here is sooooo good. We stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic little wait time too. The space is small and intimate so you can watch the pasta being made. Will be going back.

Everything here is amazing. I like to stock up on all the wonderful pastas and sauces. And the sandwiches, and house made gelato are top notch. A great patio for dine-in service, but be prepared to buy lots of stuff to take home. So good!!

Incredible food and exceptional staff. There aren’t enough stars to accurately rate this crew. All of the homemade pastas are delicious and the Italian sandwich is delightful.

THE BEST italian sandwich. I haven't had anything else here but their sandwiches all look incredible and they are all really nice people here. They have a few spaces to sit inside but if the weather is nice, there is a little courtyard to sit in to the side which is comfortable and secluded. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The BEST Italian sandwich I've had in a long time. The caserecce home made pasta hit every note of deliciousness in every bite. I'm coming back every week to try every pasta dish, this place knows what they're doing!!

For the Brooklyn transplants to SOMA, Porta Rossa is like if Russo's Mozz and Court Street Grocers had a baby and that baby was even better (which to me is high praise). The food is essentially perfect and it's really awesome to see food made in the working kitchen right behind the counter. Definitely put this on your list!
