Are you looking for fresh, homemade pasta? This is your place. I had the chicken ragu over campanelle. It was so light and delicious. The ragu tasted like it was cooked for hours, chicken and carrot pieces in every bite. The rosemary Focaccia, was like I made it myself, light and fluffy with just the right amount of everything!
We ended are visit with some pretty amazing homemade choc chip cookie gelato sandwiches rolled in Oreo. Wow!
You can order and sit at bar, outside tables, or grab yours to go. Porta Rossa Pasta has so many homemade sauces and fresh delectables you have to check it out. Don't miss this little gem, hidden in Maplewood, NJ.

Fig + Prosciutto sandwich is 1/4 lb of porky and sweet goodness brought together by a crisp honey glazed piece of bread. The best investment I’ve ever made

The lasagne is genuinely nuts. So so good. Hard to describe how good. Burrata and beans and focaccia were also good but I can’t believe how good the lasagne was. I’ll for sure be back.

Saw the reviews and decided to try this place. Loved the freshly made pastas, the Focaccia,the arugula salad. They also sell an assortment of pasta sauces. Brought home the delicious pesto sauce and it definitely elevated my humble dry pasta to a new level. Very friendly service. Planning our next trip here soon!

Genuine Italian, pure delight, no fuss

I had the prosciutto fig sandwich and cannot wait to go back and get it again. The prosciutto was piled a lot higher than I was expecting and the sandwich as a whole was fantastic.

All I know is the salad was outstanding. Cannot wait for the next one. Hopefully tomorrow. Well I went back. Had salad again. Brought 2 friends so far. Next time will be pasta.

I stopped by early in the morning specifically for a sauce that was listed on the menu, but unfortunately, it was sold out. The menu hadn’t been updated, so it ended up being a wasted trip. I hope the restaurant can keep their menu listings current so customers don’t have the same issue.
